Dez adapted to the fact that teams will faceguard him and Coach won't run plays to get him open.  So he worked on his handles to be able to attack off the dribble.  That's why i think Dez will be an AllStar soon.  He is a hardworker and  works on his weaknesses.

Ja also seems to look for fouls more in the route he takes. This leads to a lot more contact and injury risk.

If I recall, Ja was really turning into a black hole in the games leading up to the Great Denver Strip Club Debacle of 2023 - including the Denver game itself. He’s forcing too much stuff and no longer passing like he did.

He needs a good off-season to get his personal and professional life in order.

Nah we have been complaining about Ja going 1 on 4 in the paint all season.    Also he got a lot more leeway because of who he was usually playing with.  Everybody understood why he wasnt giving it up to Ziaire, Roddy, Konchar etc.     

Its just that we now have Kennard and we saw how nice the offense looked in his absence.   Now it stands out even more when he doesn't pass to Bane, Kennard or Jaren.    

I think Ja needs a reset on this season.   Hopefully, playoffs will do that for him.

The bad part was since those Pistons teams were making super deep playoff runs forever in the 2000s, I had to actually think of that original number was possible for a moment.

Bane will become what we believe OJ would be. A superstar star scoring guard.

Definitely. You see it in his body language for the past two games. No being who he his is killing him inside. But Dillion and JJJ all played terrible.

Y’all can’t tell me that nobody sees that the Ja on 5 is usually necessary… when he gets the ball , there are no cuts, no motion… our guys get caught watching 12 too.

When the bench plays together - they move .

This should be rather easy to address.
