This Magic squad plays hard as nails. They surprise teams every night. They’ve pulled out some really random games this year. Beat GS in San Fran, beat Boston back-to-back in the Garden, and even beat the Clipps in LA last Saturday. Definitely a trap game, but we do seem to play pretty well against them!

The Magic have played really well since about mid-December.  Since starting out 5-20, they've played over .500 ball (27-23).

That 54% winning percentage would be good for 4th in West right now.

Just Think if they come out of that Draft Lottery with the Number 1 pick

That's pretty surprising to me, but that's major improvement. They should easily be a playoff contender next year. They could still technically make it this year, but not likely.

And 10th overall. Paolo is the real deal. Even Markelle is playing weill.

My two hometown teams playing against each other again. This is a preview of the 2025-26 NBA Finals. Two of the youngest teams in the league with impressive amounts of talent.

What does the "Q" by Okeke's name mean?  Is he a conspiracy nut-job now?

Probably "questionable" if I had to guess

side note:   A critical play-in game tonight between the Pelicans and Warriors.    Go to the "Play-in possibilities" thread for tonight's play-in matchups.

It's good to hold Morant out. I don't like this Magic team. It's the sort of team that injures an opposing player because they're making an overly exuberant low probability of success play on the ball, a PetBev diving at Westbrook's knees sort of play or going way too hard after an offensive rebound and undercutting you. Not dirty but equally as dangerous.

I'm confident we can handle the Magic without Ja. Turn Luke and Des loose and we're good. :)

The Magic are over .500 in their last 50 games. They are not a dirty team in any respect. If Ja has leg issues, then the team should rest him but not because the Magic aren't that good or they are going to hurt him.

Not sure where you got that I didn't think the Magic wasn't that good. Maybe I should have made my post with more information. We have played pretty well without Ja. If he needs rest, let him. I would rather have him available down the road. However, I'm sure you would agree that it's better to rest him against a lesser opponent than it would be against the Clips coming up. We all know that any team can beat any other on a given night. We've been on both sides of that.
