We suddenly have a realistic chance at catching Denver.  They've lost 5 of 6 and have a tough schedule to finish

The problem seems to be SAC.  These guys are all jump shooting except for Sabonis a little in the paint,  But they are just en fuego and they won at CHI last night and they won at WAS tonight, so we are tied with them record wise meaning they have the tie breaker.

We need them to drop like 2 of 3 down the stretch.

Turns out the key to unlocking Jaren might have been Ja getting suspended. He's averaging 22 a game since Ja has been out. Hopefully that's something we can continue to exploit once Ja returns.

Just think … Jaren , Ja, Bane … any one of them is capable of going ham and handing you  30+ at any time … if all three of them click in the same game - it’s showtime !

Really proud of the way Jaren has stepped up this season… aggressive offense and assertive defense along with him finally getting the referees’s respect and allowing him to play - welcome to the party Big Trip !

Yes, tonight was a lot of fun. Glad to see how Kennard is plugging in, bringing what we need him to bring.

It's always tempting to get into the crazy talk on a night like this and wonder what changes when Ja is in the building, but it seems like this is how we always ought to play. If we could meld this philosophy with Ja on the floor, man this team would be almost historically frightening to play.

Yes, both these.

I agree that the Nuggets schedule toughens up, but I don't think with 11-12 games remaining, they can pick up 4 games on the Nuggets.

Unfortunately, I think Nuggets and Kings both have tie-breaker on Grizzlies.

12 Games remain.  Win all 7 against the non-playoff/losing record teams (not easy to do), and win 2 of 5 against the playoff teams (Mavs, Clippers twice, Hawks, Bucks) and 9-3 to finish the season puts them at 52-30.

Denver will get to 52 wins, so can Sacramento.

If getting the 3 seed means a healthy team, I'm OK with it.

You’re pretty astute for a 13 year old. Must be because you started posting here when you were a baby?

:D:lol:  Actually, it would've been before he was in the womb.  Something makes me think the other guy is closer to 13 than @fanboyslim.

my feeling about Dillon is this.  I respect him for what he does for the team.  He WANTS to guard the other team's best player.  He does not shy away from it.  He gets down and dirty on defense and lets face it- a team needs that.   Every good team has its enforcer so to speak.

When he is selective and not just going guns hot all the time, I like his 3 pt shot.  I think he has good form and he is definitely not scared.

If I had my druthers, I just wish he would cool it with all the trash talk toward Draymond and Klay.   Now Klay is a sure enough entitled punk.  His dad was a Laker.   He thinks he is some kind of god or something, but he has had injury issues and has missed 2 years rehabbing and is still a really good volume shooter, so he deserves respect.  But Dillon just has to needle him.  I know its funny at times, but it just ensures that he will be doubly motivated to tear us up every time we play,.

As far as Draymond is concerned, nothing he has said is wrong.  He said anyone can win in March and he is right.  Winning in March is nice.  Winning in May and June is what we look for and Draymond's team has done that over the last 8 years and I think that deserves respect.  So I just dont know what Dillon hopes to accomplish.  I am sure that he is not bothering Klay or Draymond to the point that they are nervous to play us.  They have been through too much for that to be true, so what Dillon is doing is just making them more and more and more ****** at us.  They arent going to ever respect us until we eliminate them in the post season, so all the talking is setting Dillon up to look stupid like he did this last go round.  NBA pundits were laughing at Dillon and it reflects negatively on MEM.

I dont remember Steph--who could embarrass many different opponents--ever talking smack about the Grizz.  He may rock the baby to sleep when he hits a timely 3 pointer but nothing all that bad.  I would rather our guys act like that.  But I get it, this is just who Dillon is and he flat out doesnt care.

I really wish Bane would have been 100%, no Ja injury, and no Adams COVID last year vs GS. I’d even give them GPII back. We really should have won game 1 & 4. If I don’t get that wish, I’d settle for GS losing to Boston.

Steph plays bully ball just like the rest of them.

"As far as Draymond is concerned, nothing he has said is wrong."

Don't start a paragraph with that bs. If you watch his podcast you wouldn't. For him, his "truth" is collatateral to his long term contract.

Yeah, good thing we didn’t stay in San Antonio last night. Team would have been sluggish from partying in the River Walk.

Please do not insist. I have been implied to be an adolescent of the weaker sex. I don’t know how I will ever come back from that.

Ah, of course… A dance video with a glamour filter on. That will set me right.
