Tyus misses a point blank layup with his nonchalant approach.  Thank goodness X was there to clean up the miss.

The shear arrogance that Jenkins is displaying by thinking he can just roll into SA and run experimental lineups to gather data for his super basketball computer and still win is amazing.  

His defensive philosophy is getting destroyed as he seems to be just fine leaving a man wide open from 3 because over the last upteen years, behind the arc is successful a lower percentage of the time than giving up layups.   That is crapt.  NBA teams can make wide open threes--that is except MEM.

MEM has scored 34 effing points in about 20 mins of gametime.  That is atrocious.  They just think its all gonna be okay.  No worries.  So we lose a game--so what.  We are Memphis.  We dont run from smoke.  Such BS.

so disheartening. SA doesnt even really want to win the game as an organization but they arent going to stop playing.  And we are obliging them by playing like a team with no heart.

Absolutely no excuse for this effort. I said a few weeks ago Bane and Dillon are bench players 6th and 7th men and stand by that.

agree with this being part of the BIG HEAD thing.

We are going to fool around and end up facing GSW in the first round and all they have to do is have a great shooting night to beat us at FEF and we are toast--in the first round.  But hey, we are MEM.  We run up chimneys to get to the smoke.  We are such Billy Joe Bad Arses that we can just decide to drop some games down the stretch.   Why??  Because we are the Grizzlies.  Everybody hates us and we are such bad arses.  Yeah.  

Honestly, if we had to play SAC right now with Ja AND Adams, we would get slaughtered because we have no heart  and no stones and we cannot shoot.  I know GTF says we have shooters but man, we see it ALL the time. We miss tons of wide open 3s.  We just do. 

We cannot even out score one of the worst teams in the league who is TRYING to be just that.  We trade for a player like Kennard and he can barely even get any shot attempts.  Some of that is on Jenkins and some is on him.  He doesnt try.  I dribbles into the lane for God's sake.  What in the H would Kennard be doing dribbling into the lane?   

Front Office so proud of itself for drafting well that they cannot see the value of maybe having a couple of vets and we end up, like those of you have posted, trying to develop 7 players.  Our FO just thinks that whenever it wants to, it can flip a switch and decide to go all in and get to the West Finals or The Finals.   It does not work that way.  If you have  chance, you need to take advantage of it.  Nothing is guaranteed.  This is just really disappointing.

their fans expected just what MEM expected tonight.  They expected SA to not put up much effort.  The Spurs are playing for more ping pong balls trying to get Victor W.   But MEM outsucked SA tonight and basically said we dont care.  Just shoot the ball from wherever you want. We arent gonna try and stop you.  So SA did and they have toasted a gutless MEM team.

agree.  Bane could start for many teams, but Dillon is a poor man's Bruce Bowen or even Tony Allen. He plays hard defense but is so determined to show how much of a bad arse he is that he can be a detriment.

that is probably it for this game.  Its like a broken clock.  its right twice a day and that is about it.  Probably too little too late anyway. Im not watching it.  That would just run my blood pressure up

Are we gonna just ignore that Ja Adams and Brandon are out?   Thats you top player followed by Top3 important player and most effective bench scorer.      Yes this losses suck but lets not forget what we are dealing with.    All of that said we shouldnt be giving this game away like this.
