I've always been a Grizz fan and hope for the best. I'm a past president of the Sunshine Patrol after all.

I'm going with Friday the 24th at home against the Rockets.

Voted April but I think this makes sense - don't think they'd bring him back on the road and no sense bringing him back during a tough stretch where we may be losing games anyways.

Fam - can ya'll imagine how insufferable ja wouldve become, if this IG blowup never happened and we went to the Finals?!?!   Nobody on the planet wouldve been able to humble him and bring him back in the fold.

I know what they are going thru is tough, but i am just grateful it happened before Ja really harmed himself or someone else.   This is gonna be a helluva redemption story.

I honestly dont know. All depends on what he has to do. I hope we see him again this season but if we dont I hope hes getting better.

Ja has been all but officially ruled out for tomorrow vs Mavs. I think it’s likely we see him on the bench, but not dressed out. He then likely returns Wednesday or Friday vs Rockets.

Here’s a positive article for a change:

Can we all now agree that

  • Ja should be primary playmaker
  • Jaren should be primary scorer
  • Bane should be primary floor spacer
  • Half-court offense should be Jaren primary and bane secondary option and when all else fails then "Ja go get a bucket"?
  • Jaren is basically Giannis with worse handles and rebounding but better shooting
  • Bane is Bigger Bradley Beal with better defense and 3pt shooting

I love Bane but Beal finishes plays much better especially around the basket and off the dribble.

Yes but Bane is a better pure shooter and stronger defender so it balances out.  Overall i see them as same level of player.   Beal is miscast as a primary guy when he and Bane both are perfect as 2nd/3rd guys.

Jaren is the one with ALL the tools to be primary scorer.   Ja has primary scorer ability too but his small-frame and playstyle has a shorter window of success than Jaren.

Beal is kind of an invisible/forgotten player.  He's obviously still very good, but he's not talked about much anymore.  Mainly because he's on a team that is not good, and he's already peaked as a player and hasn't made the All-Star game the past couple years.  He's set for the next 4 seasons and will make a lot of money.  But, Washington will likely not be in contention.

On the other hand, Bane is on the rise and plays for a team that is a contender.  Beal has earned his payday, but may be considered a hindrance with his large salary.  Washington may try to unload him, but at $50-57 million, there may not be any takers.

Are we talking young Beal or Beal now?  Cause young Beal has been the leading scorer on playoff teams.  He wasnt a superstar one but he was on the level of a Booker, young Klay, Jaylen Brown, Ray Allen as a perfect 2 for a contender that could be a 1 for a playoff team in his prime. He didnt get the supermax for nothing.  Bane is a 2/3 as you said.  His defense now is better but not overwhelmingly better than the young Beal due to his small wingspan.  And Beal when he played a lot more off the ball shot it with the best of them, shot 40% from three in three of his first five years.  If Bane is better shooter, like defense, the difference is marginal.

I am putting them on same tier.  Bane isn't anywhere near his prime while Beal has peaked.   Supermax doesn't sway my thoughts on him and its not like im saying he isn't AllStar level player.   Beal as no#1 wasn't getting anyone a championship.  He should've always been a 2ndary.   I see Bane as primary with same ceiling - everything depending on cast around him.

Didnt say Beal could take you to a championship.  Bane could never average 31 points on 49% shooting and take a team the playoffs like Beal did two years ago.  Thats Beal's best season.

On JaVision they just showed that we are 6-1 in our last 7 non-Ja games.  Haha.

This Memphis team might end up breaking the league.  lol

Beal was 27y at the time and played alongside Westbrook and East wasn't as good then.    Bane at 27y will be better than current and like i said depends on supporting cast.   Disagree with "never".    Bane is a hard worker and already has Elite shooting skillset.

I think a legit playoff team can be built around all 3 of our main guys.   Difference is i think a Ja or Jaren team ceiling is championship vs Bane just a playoff team.

Congrats to those that picked this week, whoever you are.  I think there were a couple cheaters too, as there was just two that voted for this week, but now there's 4.
