Another annoying story.... Ja should focus on basketball and spend less time talking and less with some of his buddy. He was very humble when he arrive in NBA. Seens that his ego is a bit inflated at the moment.

Never never going to happen but I do think Ja is slightly overrated by the league and you could get a king's ransom in picks for him.  Would be a smart strategy for a small market team that had a less rich owner who just wanted to stay competitive and didn't really care about winning championships.  But no I don't want the Grizz to do it.

Im not defending Ja and his associates cuz all of this is pure foolishness.   

However, where was this energy during GnG when Zbo and Perk were trying to confront each other in the lockerroom after the game?  Or when Zbo told players he would whup their a$$ during games?? 

 If i recall correctly Promo team made TShirts and Slogans after that and we (me included) chant songs called (Whoop that Trick).  Im just acknowledging our own hypocrisy (myself included). 

Maybe that's why Ja thinks what he is associated with isn't out of bounds here.

But that's totally different, imo. It's one thing for players to go at other players. Having all these hangers-on who are probably unemployed and living off of Ja's generosity to use Zach's words 'starting **** with everybody' is a whole different matter.

Zbo's associates were super sketchy too and Zbo was "allegedly" actively involved in his off-court antics.  Im not justifying anything Ja is doing.   Its pure knucklehead stuff and NBA is trying to push him as face of the league.     All young franchise types need to really study Lebron's career.    As much as ppl hate on him he has been an absolute pro as far as offcourt stuff goes.  His friends have been top notch too.   Ja needs to emulate him.

Mostly agree.

But the ZBo "Jailblazers" team imploded. Zach went to the Knicks for a year. Then to the Clips for less than a year. As talented as Zach was, nobody wanted to put up with the nonsense. Which allowed us to make maybe the greatest trade in franchise history to land ZBo. ZBo at age 28 was different than ZBo in his Portland years. 

The league actually helped us here by banning some of these knuckleheads from the Forum. I'm sure the Grizz FO quietly supports the league. Teams are in this no-win position of angering their stars by disciplining their entourages, so the league has to step in and do it for the franchise.

 I'm in agreeance here.  One incident can happen to anyone.  But now, we are seeing a pattern.  There was the fight at his home, the Shannon Sharpe incident, and now the Pacers incident.  Time for Ja to step up and set some ground rules.  It's fine for his friends to come to games, but if they become an ongoing distraction, time for them to go.
