So many code white keywords lol:

He’s a real gym rat

Deceptive athleticism

Coach’s son

Cerebral player

High basketball IQ

Hard-nosed lunch pail guy

Man, I should have tried to work all those in

I would argue the opposite. It's the Ziaire defenders who have lost all objectivity. Front office and coaching staff have adjusted, because, you know, Ziarie sucks at basketball.

So funny that you have totally invented this fake narrative of Trey Murphy being bad on defense, and at the same time want to claim a lack of objectivity on Ziaire.

But the Ziaire defenders don't give up easily.. Now he gets some points in garbage time, and they're back.

I don't really see too many people on his side anymore. Most at this point  just wish him the best and hope things click for him one day

Oh, there are more than you think. They just wait for him to score 16 points in a Hustle game. Or 12 points in garbage time against the Heat. They are much more annoying than Ziaire is - he sucks, not his fault we drafted him 30 spots too high.

How is that annoying? They are just holding out hope that he might turn things around

Like Dork criticizing and making up stuff about Trey Murphy, simply because we blew it and took Ziaire instead of Trey.

Like others acting like garbage minutes mean anything.

Like acting as if the team somehow hurt Ziaire by giving him the opportunity to practice handling the ball in Summer League.

Like saying Ziaire didn't play much his Freshman year at Stanford, when he has more minutes played there than this whole season with the Grizz.

Ridiculous excuse-making when the very simple explanation is his poor play is very annoying.

Not that big a deal. Talent, or the lack of talent, always shows itself in the long run. And most of the time in the short run.

Meaning what? 21 years olds can't suck at basketball?

He's not done developing as a player.

How do you know? Imo, he is just as likely to continue to regress. This fantasy that young players only improve is just not supported by the history of young players in the league. Teams waive 20 and 21 year olds or dump them via trade all the time. It's what smart franchises do - admit mistakes and move on.

Ziaire finally got to 500 mintues played so he could make this metric. And he is 339th of 341 players who have played 500 minutes.

I don't know and you don't either.  You just seem oddly worked up about it. Some people just aren't ready to 100 percent give up on him yet. I don't why that riles you up so much. He doesn't even play anymore. He's not eating up a bunch of cap.

That's the next fallacy the excuse makers make - that we are worked up about it.

Somehow you responding over and over is normal, but I am worked up. Gotcha.

I was ready a year ago to 100% give up on him. Because he sucks. Doesn't make me riled up, just makes me able to analyze honestly.

Why don't we turn it on you? Can you name one lottery wing who dropped as low as Ziaire has dropped this season, who eventually made it back to being a starter on a good team?

Now that he's no longer in the rotation I don't really even care.

Lol, along with Xavier and Tyus and Taylor. The beauty of being on both sides of every issue is never having to admit you were wrong.

So true.

Bro Trey Murphy not on our team. He on the other side. Give it up 🤣🤣🤣. Ain’t nobody making no excuses for Ziaire lol. The man has played like trash and doesn’t look to be showing any growth at all against NBA competition. It’s just annoying how some of you repeatedly slurp the enemy cause u wish we drafted him lol.

Yes, Trey unfortunately is not on our team. We blew it and passed on him and took Ziaire.

Ans there have been about a dozen excuses made by you and others for Ziaire’s terrible play. When the simple explanation is that he is t an NBA basketball player.

Dont know what Konchars new years resolution was for 2023, but I hope it wasnt to score more points.  In the calendar year 2023 he has played 16 mins a night and has managed 85 points in 27 games and hasnt cracked double digits since new years day.  36.5% FG overall as well.

The front office betting on Konchar being able to replace Melton is just as much of disaster as them drafting a terrible college player at 10 and betting that he's can be an NBA level talent.
