Jon had has looked mediocre the past few games to my recollection

He is a guy that is fine if all your main pieces are clicking because he will be more than happy to do thankless work.    But if you need a spark then he aint your guy.      Right now we need a wing that can be a spark off the bench.    Roddy is only guy that fits that mold but he a rookie.

Konchar has lost confidence on the offensive side of the ball. Other than the 5 field goals he made against Sacramento on New Year's Day, he hasn't made 2 field goals in a game this month. He is also 4-14 from three this month. He had 3 fouls and 4 rebounds in 9 minutes.

To be honest.  This game kinda illustrates my real playoff fear and that is Jenkins.     Why don't we know how to run a real halfcourt offense by now?  Its been 4 seasons.

Nothing TJ has done gives me confidence that he will make the right decisions in PO"s when the game slows down.     Adams is basically our halfcourt offense and TJ doesn't like to lean on him in POs.    We have enough offensively gifted players to run an actual set offense.   This type games should stymy us completely every time.

At least he plays defense. ZW is a wreck on defense, anybody who wants to gets to the rim. He actually turns sideways and makes himself smaller on defense half the time.

Why the hell is everyone talking about Jon Konchar?  He is the LEAST of our worries.  The only criticism I could really level at him is that he probably isn't good enough to be a competing team's eight or ninth men, but for the price we are paying for him he is DEFINITELY worth a spot on this squad.  He's solid on defense, solid on the boards, solid at hitting an open shot... the only thing wrong with him is that we don't have anyone better than him to play significant minutes in big games.

I just more want him to figure out that in intense games like this you need a lot more minutes from Clarke and Tyus and a lot less minutes from ZW and Konchar

Because Konchar played 9 minutes and ZW played 18 minutes and contributed F-all but yet Tyus only played 20 and Clarke  only 22 and they were the ones that almost carried us to victory. Got to fix those numbers

Well that's what I'm saying.  It isn't Konchar's fault that coach is playing him.  He is a fantastic end of the bench guy.  I'd even say elite.

Im ticked off tho.  All  I ask is to NOT lose to the Lakers  and Warriors.. ESPECIALLY on National TV.    Is that to much to ask?

OMG and you can tell that Ja and Dillon upped there offensive misfiring as a way of going at Sharpe.   Now he is gonna be vindicated.   We about to go full Heel turn - commentators were already turning on us.

Turning Heel is a scary prospect. Everyone gunning for us. I'd rather be Baby Face.

It would help not trash talking so much.

By all means, on a good play, YES, but not a continual stream

I am just so ****** off man.  We allowed the Fakers to take our record win streak AND our double digit win streak on national TV.  Come on man.

Konchar was terrible shooting 3 last month too. 29% from 3 last month, 28% this month, is 14-50 from 3 dating back to the end of November. He's not doing much better than Ziaire in this department as of late.

that's a pretty one sided way to look at a guy's value...

I will say losses like this are also annoying because this team - Specifically Ja and Dillon - make every sports fan and media personality pile on after a loss because they have pretty douchey personas on the court that they have been amplifying and playing into more and more as their careers have progressed. Because of that, despite being a small market team, this is easily the most hated team in the NBA and probably nearing most hated in North American pro sports.

Just wish they’d shut the hell up and play smart ball for a couple of months. Go submarine mode and just ball out without all of the distracting foot-in-mouth interviews or awful lame pregame dances. Same with the social media team that acts absurd after every win with lame “hold that L” stuff. Like Ja and Dillon, being cocky and douchey is ok in small quantities, but it’s becoming a total sideshow now that they have a little spotlight on the team these days.

BRB. I think I saw some kids on my lawn.

I'm almost too depressed to comment. Maybe we shouldn't get national exposure. Too often we find a way to be embarrassed.

Watching the replay, that out-of-bounds pass-in looked like it was designed to go to Bane. Anderson fouled Bane bigtime before Schroder got there, but come on, play it safe go backcourt to Ja.

Which leads to a recurring question, why can't we get Bane free around screens? Is it play design, screen setting, Bane's use of the the screen? WTH is the problem?

Or is it that we usually win when Ja is doing his thing or Dillon is doing his thing so why work so hard on timing plays or work to setup the bigs in games of huge advantage like this one?

Hopefully this is the last humbling, learning experience.

Love the lawn addition.

I feel somewhat the same but wonder how it balances out with marketability. Maybe where it hurts us the most is with the refs.

Just curious, where do you get your "most hated" numbers? 😁

Not a quantifiable number by any means, mostly from social media, popular analysts, etc. it really seems there is a rapidly increasing dislike for this team. it’s mostly a combination of the persona of the team (with Ja and Dillon being the faces of the persona) combined with the fact they haven’t done anything at all outside of having a good regular season last year. And at this point, I don’t blame everyone for hating this team. If I were a fan of any other team, this would probably be my least favorite team as well.

Even though Konchar and Z play different positions from Tyus and Clarke, you have knocked them enough times that you have convinced me. Your biased opinion about their contributions must be correct. They are the reason for this loss.

I think you're reading too much into youtube comments to be honest. Our quotient for people who dislike us, (who, I think, mostly comprise of Warriors fans with a chip on their shoulder) is relatively small, in my opinion, compared to the new number of people, world wide, who absolutely love the Grizz and what they represent.  I recently was in Lisbon, Portugal and wore my Grizz warm up hoodie, and at least seven people stopped me and said "YO! JA MORANT!" or more... so, I think we're fine, once we get our heads wrapped up.

My attitude is F.....Youtube, F.....Twitter, and F..... Shannon Sharpe.

But hey, don't make it easy to hate on us. Be smart.

But that's just me.

But @GrizzTigerFan is right. We've definitely turned Heel in the eyes of the neutral fan.

If that's what it is, so be it. Just back it up - WIN BABY WIN!

In my opinion, this is where the Grizzlies should use their assets and add a piece at the Trade Deadline!    The game is going to slow down in the PLAYOFFS.
