Cleveland Cavaliers @ Memphis Grizzlies - 1/18/2023

Recommended Posts

Ja kept drawing the d and kicking out to Dillon .

I understand Ja having faith in his teammates BUT I need those teammates to also understand their stregnths and weaknesses ...

Translation : Dillon needed to be looking for a hockey assist off those kickouts - not shots.

Glad we won !

Fantastic win, though I do want to call back to earlier in the game when Kevin Love grabbed Jaren's arm when he was running by him to get a 3 shot foul. Then two possessions later love intentionally sticks out his leg and trips Clarke on another 3 point attempt (no call on that one). Just super dirty plays.

Now if the Wolves could just figure out a way to beat the Nuggets.

Wolves without KAT and Gobert….so they may have a chance. Need a big game from SloMo!

Their coach is now in the postgame presser talm bout the players should decide the game... something about a bad call on Allen...

BUT - reffs were pretty consistently bad both ways...

He could’ve challenged it…

Also, Mobley is awesome. Such a solid player. Cavs have built a heck of a squad.

TH Jitty for leading team in +/- with +13?

I know you jest, but Jitty actually plays really good defense. That's probably why his minutes are generally a + for the team

He must have missed that last foul that was called on Jaren where there was six inches of air between him and the guy he supposedly fouled. I couldn't believe we didn't challenge that one.

Verno's Law.  We are undefeated if we get up double digits.

They sure tested it last night. Verno out there trying to jinx the team.

Just wish the nuggets would lose a couple lol. So we can get some breathing room

Pretty sure the nuggets are going 69-13. Sure feels like it.

According to Tankathon, the Nuggets have the 16th hardest schedule remaining. Memphis has the 23rd.

Also, according to 538's nba projections for the playoffs, the grizz are projected at 57 wins, Denver at 56.
