I ran into Pau Gasol at Club 152 on Beale his rookie year. One of my friends was married to a stripper at the time and a few of her friends were with us, Pau and his handlers invited our whole group to an upstairs vip room. My friend's wife was trying to hook another one of my friends up with one of her stripper friends, but the friend ended up going home with Pau. My buddy who was supposed to be hooking up with her wasn't even mad, he was like "he's worth millions and she's a stripper, what are you going to do?". Man that was a trip down memory lane.

I wanna say he’s Chris Mullin 2.0 — but maybe is closer to Mike Miller 2.0. Still you take that, but I have him around 5. Top 10 at worst.

He should be on our short list at 25 (our late first round pick).

He could be the guy we want ZW to be.

It’s not like there are 20 or 30 vastly better players in this draft....

He's certainly made great strides from last season.  Guys who make big improvements from year to year tend to keep improving.

You can scratch Liam Robbins from the 2nd round list.  He's having leg injury surgery.  Dude was really starting to get favorable NBA scout attention when he got the latest injury early in the game at Rupp the other night.  Even Calipari was heartbroken for him and you don't hear coach Cal that way over an opposing player often.

As a legit 7-1/255 guy, maybe he can get a shot as a free agent when that leg heals.

We still have that late late second; might as well use it on a redshirt guy OR a draft/stash player.

Emoni Bates ends college days with 10 points in 27 minutes in a blowout loss to a horrible Bowling Green State team.

Bates and EMU lost by 20.  He did not start.

Bobi Klintman 6’9-6’10 wing out of Wake Forest so we know the FO have eyes on him looks kinda like the guy they were hoping to turn ZW into

Has anyone taken a look at Brandin Podziemski from Santa Clara.  Has had an excellent sophomore season, leading a very good Santa Clara team in points (19.9 per game), rebounds (8.8 per game), Assists (3.5 per game) and  Steals (1.8 per game).  He is an a great shooter (44% from 3) and he is still pretty young at only 20 years old.  His tankathon profile has literally no weaknesses.  Could be a steal at the end of the 1st.

This is a fanbase that has struggled to properly spell Ziaire or Haddadi, and you think we’re going to draft this guy?

He’s probably gonna get the same boost Jalen Williams got last year maybe not as high but he will be a first rounder for sure. He doesn’t have the athleticism or length but he’s a really smart player sound like a guy out Fo would love. he has T. rex arms too

He seems skilled but not athletic enough.  Looks like more of a combo forward than what ZW projected to be (SG/SF).   We simply need a 6'7+ high motor wing with plus wingspan that can defend rebound and slash to the rim.   Old skool SF basically. 

Usually the highly skilled cats aren't great athletes.  Which makes sense because athletically gift players usually don't need skill in order to succeed.    Its usually lesser physically gifted players that develop skills to counter their physical limitations.    

The guy i want probably plays PF in college because of his tweener size and lack of ballhandling  and shooting ability.  100% not a typical FO pick.  The high motor guys im talking about usualy have "that dawg" in them.  Tari Eason is a perfect example of what i mean.

I think he is the person who likes Sidy Cissoko...  although Leonard Miller is good, too.  Ignite have TWO interesting options... although BOTH might be off the board by the time we pick.

If we are shopping for another Roddy/LaRavia type then Jaime Jaquez, Jr. would be interesting but I wouldn't chase that archetype this year.  

Julian Strawther, Harrison Ingram, Josiah Jordan-James, Julian Phillips, Terrence Shannon, Jr. and Jordan Walsh are interesting wings, but 24-26 might be a slight overpay for some of them and they don't offer a ton of upside.

Colby Jones probably moves up (I have him late lotto-ish).  Same with Jordan Hawkins.  I also like Hawkins' UConn teammate Andre Jackson, Jr. who could be a Melton/Slo Mo replacement.

My "trade up" wing would be Ausar Thompson if he falls but he is probably going in the top 6-8.
