I can totally see the Spurs taking Nikola Jovic.

Your board looks good.  Wonder if the top 2 teams or 3-4 teams make trades.  Jabari/Holmgren/Ivey/Banchero might be fairly even.  

I actually like Chet for Orlando and HATE the fit in OKC.  Orlando should trade down to 2 (to take Chet) and get OKC's pick at 14, too.  

I am thinking that Orlando should ALSO look at Jaden Ivey.  If not Orlando, then the Rockets should just go ALL IN on speedy/athletic guards pairing Jalen Green with Jaden Ivey (and they also have Kevin Porter, Jr. and Josh Christopher).

UPSIDE with a Green/Ivey back court: the Rockets are FLAT OUT unguardable.  And, on the other hand, it's too easy to turn ANY big man into, essentially, a glorified role player.

i just took Leonard Miller out of my mock draft since he is going to sign with the G League Ignite.

Ironically two of the other guys in that 40-43 range are also (apparently) pulling out of the draft: Drew Peterson and Isaiah Wong.  Of course, the Grizz worked out BOTH Peterson and Wong and both guys would have been GREAT fits for us.

Shareef O'Neal is ALSO out of the draft -- and I had him as a late pick for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Guess I will also replace Peterson/Wong/Shareef with different players, probably with Karlo Matkovic (maybe some other of the imports withdrew too).

Dang I should have gone with my gut.  I thought Murray was a better prospect than Ivey but everyone was saying Ivey is the pick and I didn't trust my instinct.

I think I only got 2 picks right.  Chet and Sharpe.  May have flubbed the Sharpe prediction, too.  lol

Just lots of guys in the discussion after the first handful of players.  Fairly flat draft after Banchero/Chet/Jabari/Ivey/Murray (and I had Jabari at 1 and thought the potential bust risk was too high for Chet).  Lots of solid DEPTH though which is something I am looking forward to.

In 3rd place with 56 points and impressively the top 3 picks exactly right is NDQ

In 2nd place with 62 points and the contest leading 7 correct picks out of the first 15 is The Ghost of Thabeet

Yes, the moderator who stated that mock drafts are worthless but still started the thread and posted the first mock draft accumulated 79 points including 4 picks outside of the top 9 (big money picks). 

I doubt anyone is really surprised, are they? I admit I got lucky, know nothing about the draft and believe everyone's attempts at making a mock draft is wasting their time. However, a win is a win.

Congrats Chip.  I think a better way of scoring the draft would be the sum of squares of the difference between a player's actual draft position and their predicted draft slot but this was fun.
