Memphis Grizzlies @ L A Lakers - 1/9/2022

Recommended Posts

I bet we throw the same starting five at the Warriors.

Tyus/Melton/Konchar/Clarke as the main bench mob guys.  Tillman should help against Draymond Green, too.

You somehow think we're joking. What is so special about taking 19 shots a game to average 22 points? Lots of players could do that.

Again, when has Ingram every helped a team to even a winning record? Much less win a play-in or playoff game.

If Ingram is one of your max guys, your team is in trouble.

Watching the Lakers recap, about the last block, "Jaren Jackson ends the dream." ?

(Thanks Laker guys, for the non "Junior" comment.)

Aldama and Culver were both minus 14 in 3 minutes.

Maybe we "upgrade" Culver with a solid veteran.

Culver was the only guard in the game when Ellington and them made it look like the Globetrotters vs the Washington Generals.

That was really disappointing for him to have played pretty decently for a few games and then unable to take care of the rock and set up some half court offense for the last couple of minutes of a game.  That hurts the big leap of faith we took in his being a decent role player.  He is now in danger of being returned to "trade for a washing machine" status.

... going to Culver/Aldama/Mathias... the drop-off is STEEP.

I see Culver and Aldama getting a few DNP-CD's soon.

When DB gets back Tillie will too, maybe Konchar, depending on the matchup.

Ja/Tyus

Bane/Melton

DB/Konchar

Jaren/SlowMo

Adams/Clarke

Maybe. Or Tillman plays or Konchar plays. Maybe the play 11 on the rotation. But the 9 main guys are the others.

I am up for trading Culver (upside is he has an expiring deal which could be attractive to some teams) for a legit veteran 7 foot center.

Not when you consider his contract. Which you have to do.

So is he a bad player or does his contract just not fit with our current roster? Can he help us from a basketball perspective, of course he can

I still want Grant. We need another wing with size that plays D and make 3s.

Could you imagine if you rest Ja/Adams and  use a lineup of Bane/Melton/DB/Grant/Jaren?

Also Grant has another year in the deal. We would be set for next year run.

You just won't stop talking about Brandon Ingram for some reason. Is he banging your sister or something?

He is a vastly overrated player making too much money who has never helped his team win. Clear now?  Jesus Christ.
