2021-22 NBA Schedule

Recommended Posts

I hear the new schedule is being released next Thursday or Friday (possibly later however). What games are you most interested in attending this coming season?

I will definitely be attending the Magic game for personal reasons. I’m also excited about Dallas, New Orleans and Phoenix.

Why the magic, just curious? I see them play the magic in Otown every year, so I’ll def be there. My girlfriend and I def want to make it up there for a game this year. She has never been to Memphis and I’ve only been once. We still can’t decide on what team we want to see. Dallas would be cool. (she loves Luka) I’ve also always wanted to see Jokic play in person, so maybe Nuggets.

Every season I name marquee teams and matchups that I want to see when they visit Memphis… and I always end up trying to justify going to ALL of the home games anyway !

This team can carry a crowd that stands behind it.

Dillon,

Slo-mo,

Ja,

Bane,

a new rookie

and please please please let this be the year that 13 brings it…

haven’t watched Adams lately but I do recall that he rather enjoys mixups / dustups/ minor skirmishes…

Other than that we don’t have a team to Clipper hate … no rivalries

I try to avoid getting hyped for teams like Lakers and Nets because I'm never sure who will play.

I'm kind of excited to see Gay & Conley on the FEF floor together again.

I also like predicting Christmas matchups.

I think Nets Lakers is obvious option unless they want to have them each against local rivals like Knicks Clippers.

Assuming Nets Lakers,  Zion will be on, maybe versus Luka.  Warriors vs Suns maybe.

Knicks Sixers?

Hawks Bucks ?

Would have too think Clippers or nuggets are also prime candidates

Because of Covid i may delay one more time my visit to Memphis to see some games. I plannned initially in January 2021, then move to January 2022....let's see how is the situation.

Favorite game for me will be against Mike, Also would like to see the Knicks.

I own a second home in Orlando plus the youth is intriguing

The thing that sticks out above your post is:

Those have the potential to be GREAT GAMES!

Is the nba becoming more competitive ?
Is the talent spreading out?

(even in the face of the buy a chip strategy of the lakers and nets?)

***build a winner strategy has entered the chat

Opening day:

Warriors-Lakers and Nets-Bucks on opening night October 19, and Jokic will be first returning MVP to not be on Christmas since the NBA went to a 5 game set on Christmas in 2008.

The schedule is reported to be released on Friday.

MLK Game should always be against Atlanta and always played in Memphis on MLK Day, especially now with Ja and Trae making an excellent substory to the game itself.

Grizz at MSG. I'm in NYC now every month and I can pick the days so I plan on swinging it for when the Grizz come to town.

Open with Bucks in pre-season, and also play Atlanta & Detroit in preseason.

I know everyone really wanted their pre-season info.

Single game tickets go on sale at 3 pm, today, so like in 33 minutes.
