Like pushing the e brake to not hit the kitchen when you already plowed through the front yard and living room

And have the dog wrapped around the rear axle.

Team should be at full strength from here on out hopefully.

Blazers and Lakers are struggling. Could Memphis leapfrog both?

I hope, better try to garantee that than this...

Would be a **** nightmare if our reward for earning a 7/8 seed is to have to play the Lakers at full strength and then possibly the Warriors if we lose that game

It is kind of a nightmare, but this way we get some Playoffs experience and have a chance on the lottery. We are actually playing with house money here.

Giving up the lead isn't always during Kyle and JV stints so that isn't complete accurate

We’re not that young is the point. Look at today. Even Ja has started 100 games now. Young is not the excuse for poor end of game execution.

it’s part lineup. Part use of TOs. Part just lack of confidence in running a half court offense, so they shoot too soon in the shot clock. And the and one fouls, middle school players know not to do that.

4 wins out of 6 games so far on this road trip. Can't complain.

If we make it 5-2 it will be incredible, and even more so that we were in pace to win it all.

I think Taylor needs to recognize when a player doesn't have it. Melton should have been in there. I know Melton turns the ball over in key situations, but Grayson did the same thing in this game anyway.

Melton should play over Allen in those closing lineups for sure

Ja is playing like a star, it’s really fun to watch him.

Ja much improved in the 3 pointer and free throw departments too.

One characteristic of a young team is not knowing how to close out games. Ja is 21 and played one "playoff," atmosphere game with the play-in. We'll be fine

Y’all folks love to hate Grayson

It's not hate, it's recognition that the difference between Allen and Bane or Melton seems small.

It's not like the difference between Ja and Tyus/Justise or JV and Tillman.  The SG spot has the most debate on who should play because none consistently stand out.

Making FTs down the stretch, especially Ja, makes a huge difference.

They made them this afternoon and that overcomes a few turnovers.

They didn't make them against the Knicks and Mavs.

To be fair he made some horrible plays at the end

Yeah, if this one had slipped away, Grayson is the guy who'd get the blame. He was really bad down the stretch.

Thankfully that didn't happen. Until the last couple of minutes there, that was a pretty impressive effort by the Grizzlies.

I think they'll work on that during the off-season!  Maturity and experience makes a huge difference

How did Ja suddenly become so efficient from the arc? His improvement has forced teams to guard him closer and opened up the lanes for him to wreck havoc.

Not just Grayson choking and making bone-headed plays at the end of games.

It’s that he a catch and shoot scorer. And he’s 0 for 9 from 3-point range these two Portland wins.  And when he’s not hitting 3s, he doesn’t offer much else, and we have better options. Again, it’s Taylor’s fault.

It’s crazy because we should have won the Games vs the Knicks, Mavericks, Nuggets and Clippers 2nd unit.

Too bad you guys aren't the coaches since the coaches actually deciding who plays are doing such a terrible job right now...
