So Pete Pranica is doing the Grizzlies.com streamed scrimmage games all by himself. Brevin doesn't join Pete until the restart of the regular season on July 31. Pete and Brevin will be remotely broadcasting games from Fedex Forum, which should be a strange experience for both of them.

Memphis fans had better anticipate that this game will be blacked out as well and make arrangements to watch the game on Grizzlies.com rather than NBA TV.

I wouldn't make anything of the Grizzlies losing their first two scrimmage.  It's ALL it is, scrimmage.  The coaches are trying to see how players react to real game situations, get the starters back in the flow of the game without risking injury, etc.

They're not trying to win the games, more than evaluate which players will work in different situations.

Two questions:

Is Bam still questionable from positive covid results...

and... will we see Toliver and Deng used together off the bench?  Would be good for defense and rebounding.

Bam Adebayo tests positive for Covid-19.

I am not sure I can find out your second question. You'll just have to tune in to see.

I also don't know how the NBA is planning on allowing the game to be watched. Technically Memphis is the road team and there is no local broadcast so it should be shown on TV but it may be blocked out since Grizzlies.com will be steaming the game.

These are 3 good teams - Sixers, Rockets and Heat - to prime us for the season. We might not look great, but are playing top 10 teams in the league.

Love how Brevin will call out players and is not a homer. Jaren has to play better, it's the end of his 2nd season, he can't keep making the same mistakes over and over.

What do you guys want to see today? I would want to see a bit more from Dillon .... (surprise)

Good perimeter defense. And Taylor to decide on his rotations beyond Tyus and BC.

Who would have thought the 4 months off would have helped Kyle the most?

yea he looks like a different player.   hopefully this is the results of the shoulder surgery.

Unbelievable. Two 3's already. Looks like a different player, and his making shots making him more aggressive with the ball.

Yeah Kyle making shots finally has us playing 5 on 5 on offense! Will be key to our success

I wouldn't go that far yet.   The key is that other teams have to start respecting his shot first.   Currently, they still crowd the paint.  It will take some time and consistency for the respect to come.
