Big 3s greatly imbalance the playing field. Having only 2 max guys for each team allows for greater parity.
ACGrizz 0 Report post Posted July 18 Gotta throw in the following too: Nets - Irving/(Levert or Allen) Celtics - Kemba/Tatum Kings - Fox/Bagley Pacers - Oladipo/Turner Hawks - Young/Collins Heat - Butler/Winslow Timberwolves - Culver/Anthony-Towns Mavs - Doncic/Porzingis Pelicans - Zion/Jrue
KyleB 0 Report post Posted July 18 The end of this season may be a little ambitious. Jaren is ahead of schedule by all accounts but point guards tend to take longer to acclimate than any other position. It may be year 2 or 3 or even longer before Ja really comes into his own. Turnovers are a concern and his shooting percentage from 3 could stand some improvement.
kevofrommempho 0 Report post Posted July 18 It depends what you mean. Do you mean the expected value they will provide for the rest of their career, the expected value they will provide for the Grizzlies for as long as they stay with them, or the expected value they will provide in the next season? If Ja can really impress it would be great.

Gradey 0 Report post Posted July 18 Its hard to say that with a rookie and 2nd year player. I'd love to be wrong but I think we are ~ 2 years from seeing that kind of level of play. FLASHES of amazing talent but also stretches of w.t.f. play also.
Allen 0 Report post Posted July 18 45 minutes ago, PutARingOnIt#GrizzFan said: 3js (18/8) and Jv(20/10) is not going to be a laughing matter. JV isn’t going to put up 20 10 over an entire season. Stop it
Dwash 0 Report post Posted July 18 6 minutes ago, Allen said: JV isn’t going to put up 20 10 over an entire season. Stop it Maybe not 20-10 but I could see 17-10 type numbers. The issue for him is that the stats wont be respected on a bottom 5 team.
Lugan Village 0 Report post Posted July 18 I think JV would the first to say what's more important is team winning...I think making the playoff's is a good an indicator of team success, especially in the official year 1 of a partial rebuild.
Rdk4121 0 Report post Posted July 18 Best Duo under 25? Possibly, with Booker and Ayton, Bagley and Fox, and Wiggins and KAT being the main competition.

I think Jamal Murray/Nikola Jokic and Trae Young/John Collins are clearly better, and Porzingis/Doncic are as well depending on Porzingis' health. Would probably put Bagley and Fox above them as well, and then I see Culver/KAT equal as of now (KAT > JJJ, but Ja's potential > Culver's).
