That was expected. I'm sure it will be his last year in the NBA. Between him and Parsons, another 34 mil in cap space freed up in 1 year.

Why do you think it will be his last year?  He isn't that old and he can sill shoot.

Yea he is younger than Courtney Lee, Garrett Temple.   CJ has atleast 2 more years of good play in him barring injury.

He's 32 and his shooting is inconsistent. Not sure who would want to sign him.

Why?  Because of his stint in TOR?  He's 36% from three lifetime and he shot .364 in Memphis.  Even in TOR he shot 35% from three.  His lowest 3 point shooting seasons were early in his career in UTA.  Seems relatively consistent overall for a 3 point specialist, unless you're talking game to game, and there are plenty of shooters in the league who have cold games and super hot shooting games.  Someone would most likely sign him.

I can add him to the grizzlies list of poor shooters

Sucks but we knew it was coming. I'm sure he will be traded by the deadline.

What's the status of Avery Bradley?  He averaged 16ppg as a Grizz.

The team has an option on Avery for next season. If they exercise the option then the owe him around $12.96 million. If they decide not to keep him they owe him $2 million to not play for the Grizzlies.  I doubt the team will make that decision prior to the draft much less the lottery.

When do they have to make the decision?

CJ will be a solid role player for us. He certainly looks like a good bench veteran shooter.

This. Then he's a valuable expiring at the deadline.
