We go 2-1 over the next 3 I’ll feel good about our chances. They are about to run the gauntlet. The Clippers are very similar.

The clippers and frankly the rockets both took a page out of the grizzlies book. The grizzlies though watched what the rockets did last year and found their identity again.

And they struck gold with Bickerstaff. The guy is doing everything right right now.

With the Warriors 3rd loss in a row, they drop to the 4th seed, with Portland now at 1 and Grizz at 2. (I know it’s early, just give me this 😒)

I wonder what FiveThirtyEight has our playoff prediction number at now after predicting us to win 32 games or whatever.

Edit: just looked and they update after every game. Still only a 19% chance and our predicted win total is now at 38. Guess I can take solace in the fact they predicted Hillary Clinton to win the election with 99% certainty 😅

I see a 45 or so win season by Grizzlies.  I wouldn't be surprised if Grizzlies hit 50+, but, so far, Grizzlies have played well, and, still a long season.  Injuries, other teams getting hot, Grizzlies getting cold, etc.... so many factors in a really tough conference.

I thought I was the only one checking to see when FiveThirtyEight decides to manually adjust their algorithm 😀

they have gotten rid of blake, cp3 and jordan ...and I STILL HATE THE CLIPPERS!

ready to get up in ‘em Friday !

this game has more meaning with both teams running hot right now.

Doc Rivers annoys me.  Is he still there?

I couldn't be an nba ref. I'd tee doc up so fast it'd make his head spin. Then if he said another word I'd be like this:

we really have to win the games that we are supposed to win.

beat teams that we should beat...

in tonight's game the Knicks were much more aggressive than we were.

anyway, next up Kawahi and Kyle ...

beasts of the east..

LET'S GO !

I felt like we were tired and it showed. And Fizz clearly wanted this one more than we did. 😕

it was a bad loss and it stings for sure. but, all in all, the guys have played great in both the last 2- both losses. those two games could mean a great deal as we move forward IF coach uses them as teaching tools and motivation. in both games, the griz proved to be the better, dominant team.

coach has to come up with 2-3 different, subtle ways in order to take some of the offensive pressure off of mike. gasol could do it with one look in the mirror- im not knocking him. he has been great- believe me. conley could take a slight bit of that pressure off of himself by hitting jjj more frequently with that initial look in the interior. he has been reluctant to hit him each time and I think that would really sky-rocket the young buc's stats. I know it would cause more foul trouble for the opposition.

coach and co will make adjustments. I see no reason to fear the last two. the next one is going to be tough..so, be prepared for the iiwii monologue if we drop it.

slim.
