There's this fellow named Jaren Jackson,Jr. who could probably absorb the majority of those minutes.  Anything left over could get split between Martin an Green.

Well considering Triple J probably wont be starting the season as a starter, and considering Parsons wont be playing at SF (if he plays at all), and both SloMo and Casspi can both also play small ball 4, I would try and move JaM or Martin or both for a decent specialist C. This way Triple J gets guaranteed big mins at PF.

I dont have Trade Machine in front of me, is there anyone we can snag that fits the bill?

Sign a center on the 2-way contract.  Only bring him up if needed.

The Grizzlies are so close to lux tax that it either trade or undrafted minimum player type of guy.

I suppose DD might get waived.  They could pick him up on a minimum deal again.

Not until a year has passed.

Don't think he can go back to the team that  traded him so soon

The Grizzlies are going to play small ball. I'm not sure why everybody is worried about getting another traditional center behind marc. I thought everybody understood that the NBA doesn't need centers anymore.

I fully expect that jamychal green will be our backup center/ pf.

Correct, unless the Kings deal him to Houston or somewhere else, and that teams waives him.

To be clear...I'm very much OK with not seeing DD in a Grizzlies uniform again.

It has been stated by our coach and our GM that we are going to try to play different than other teams. We are going to try to play inside-out. So yes, we could use a backup true C or another post-scorer at PF.

I expect we'll see Rabb at 5 as much as we'd have seen Davis; maybe like 10mpg. I doubt we'll see Parsons and Anderson at 4 as much as others on the boards do, assuming we don't trade Green.

Speaking of 2 am, Anas must have flashed some potential in Las Vegas. CW and Co. must have seen something.

I think they really saw something in him. I’d be really surprised if we don’t get another glimpse of Anas before it’s all said and done.

Parsons (if he plays) is not going to have the mobility to play SF. If thats where we gonna play him I can see teams switching for the mismatch.

Anderson will play more SF than PF so I agree with you there

Was Rabb not kept over dead-weight DD so he could be a backup big?  He's not a jump shooter, what else would he be?

36 NBA games... zero 3 point attempts

He did actually hit a decent 9 - 22 from deep in college.  But that is the college 3 line.

Martin is underachieving scrub love. aka false hope.

I don't think many people see Rabb as a long term anything.  But at least he does play like he gives a 5hit.

Maybe neither will be on the roster by season after next.  At least Casspi can hit a 3 now and then.  And he is not exactly Larry Bird.

They would be the only ones.
