    Thanks Dante- Official This Time

He'll probably get buried on the Wolves' bench too. They have Williams and are in the process of signing Kirilenko -- both tweeners.
  2. Nay, 4 of the top 7 are foreign players. That tells you everything you need to know about this draft class.
  3. I'm not sure who's post is better, Chip's or C64's. Both are right on target.
  4. I can't remember where, but I saw a comment saying that Phoenix would be willing to trade Robin Lopez and the 13th pick for Mayo. I wouldn't do that trade, but at least it's better value than the Indiana trade as well as other offers I've read about right before the trade deadline in February. If anything, it suggests that Mayo's value is on the rise.
  5. The Lakers already have two 30 something sfs under contract (Barnes has a player option). Why would they want another 30 something sf? The Lakers need to get younger and more athletic.
  6. I agree with most of this. Obviously, there are things I would like us to do in the off-season, but being realistic, we're better off keeping the team in tact, developing GV, Ish, and Henry, and maybe adding players late in the season after they've been waived (as we did with Powe and JWil). We can't afford to do much more. And we don't desperately need to add much more, especially with Rudy coming back to the team. We should retain Sam. He's not expensive to keep. The same goes with Haddadi, though if we can find a versatile big man for the same price, I'd do that in a second. OJ is more expensive, but I think that we need him for our bench. And I'm not sure what we can get for him. The last time he was on the block the trade offers for him were awful. Battier is the big question mark. Obviously, I want to keep him, but he's going to have to give us a James Jones discount. The fact is he's not essential to the team, especially given the return Rudy and Henry. And he's getting up there in age, so he's not worth a long-term deal or sizable investment. Of course, if he's like a lot of players who are past their prime and just want to win a championship, then I could see him resigning with us at a discount rate. Where else would he go? I don't see the Lakers signing him. They need to get younger and more athletic. And he's not likely to get to starters minutes on any of the up-and-coming teams. However, if Battier does walk, then I think we should try to sign an outside shooter. I'm not yet convinced that Henry can be one of those guys.

I think the it man was praising Conley not admonishing him

    Samuel Jackson

For late round picks, Lala Vasquez and Neil Young aren't too shabby either.

I still think the Griz still need a backup pg or stretch pf -- maybe Harrison Ford from Indiana or Daniel Day Lewis from the Wizards.

A very classy gesture by the Griz and Wright family. I wish I could go. Hopefully, someone form the board will provide details.
