Thunder as well. Let's get the Lakers down to 10 tonight.
  2. Let's put this in a little perspective here. Dillon and Ja scored 66 points together. That's 50% of the points the entire team scored. The other seven players took 43 shots to score their 66 points. But the only players to shoot under 50% from the field were Ja, Roddy and Lofton. Ja hit all twelve of his free throws, and Dillon was 4 of 6. They had 18 free throws, making 16, while the other seven players made seven of 10. Our starting lineup scored 111 points. We beat the Clippers starters by 36 points (75 total points). Their bench destroyed ours. I'm not blaming the bench for the loss, but I'm not blaming Ja and Dillon either. Defense lost us the game, and four of our best defenders were in street clothes for this game. That's why we lost.
  3. Paul George, Marcus Morris and Brandon Boston are out. Norman Powell is questionable. Kawhi got a hit in the face in their last game, but isn't on their injury report
  4. Following the first game of a back to back, teams have a later deadline to file their player report to the league office than if it was a game after a rest day.

Memphis Grizzlies and NBA Roster Moves

Then by that logic, their 23-16 record at home suggests they are more likely to lose a home game than the Grizzlies (32-5), which negates their advantage in road record. Can't dismiss almost a season of performance.

Memphis Grizzlies and NBA Roster Moves

But is that record really that impressive in context? They've beat the Clippers, Lakers, Spurs, Rockets and Thunder twice. Their other wins are the Hornets, Magic, Cavs, Raptors, Pistons, Jazz, Timberwolves, Suns, Bulls, Nets, Wizards and the Grizzlies. The win against us was without Bane and was Trip's third game of the season. Ja missed two free throws that could have tied the game with three seconds left, and we ended up losing by four. The win against the Cavs was without Donovan Mitchell. The only other wins against teams with at least a 60% winning record at home were against the Raptors and the Suns.

  9. Good story on Keyontae https://www.yahoo.com/news/kansas-state-star-turned-down-095800191.html
  10. Myocarditis is no laughing matter, but he appears to have a good medical support team and has worked hard to understand what he has to do with his condition. If K-State keeps winning, he might end up a lottery pick instead of the high second round that he's currently forecasted as being.
  11. I think Keyontae Johnson, if available, would be a great pick. Dude literally died, and has comeback to help lead his team to the Elite Eight.

Around the NBA - 2022-23 Season

Reminds of the play the Dana Kirk/Larry Finch Tigers would try to run a couple of times every season where they would line up at the start of the second half with everybody in an offensive set under the opposing team's basket so they could get a breakaway when the point guard went into the "backcourt" to get the inbounds pass.

  15. @chipc3 looks like a duplicate thread.
  16. Dillon is also picking his shots better, in part because the overall ball movement is better. He's getting more three opportunities from the spots that he has traditionally shot well from, instead of having to shoot willy-nilly from wherever he was when somebody threw him the ball with three seconds left on the shot clock.
