I think part of the reason their fan base is so horrible, it’s a lot of bandwagon folks. Even the people that live in the bay area… so many of them are transplants and didn’t grow up in the area. I don’t see that happening in Memphis. Not much bandwagon to Memphis. Either love Memphis or you hate Memphis. -

Kerr is still out for game 6 and possibly Otto as well. Could be setting up nice for us. Would be nice karma for 2015. -

Lol, if not for Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love being injured, and then KD coming over, y’all wouldn’t have one championship. As a matter of fact, y’all’s first title came because Mike Conley and Tony Allen were injured, or else we’d have creamed y’all. I still think warriors will win. But stop whining about injuries. Our best player is out num nuts. Don’t put too much stock in Wiseman. Y’all will forever regret that pick. Memphis folk know all about that. also, if Kerr gave COVID to your guys, you think it’s possible that the opposing team would have gotten from them as well? Lol -

Steven Adams not getting PT until the game was already decided is the first time I have questioned Coach Jenkins. Makes no sense. -
What's happened to Ja's floater & pull up jumper?
TexasRush replied to CoolHandGriz's topic in Grizzlies Team Talk
In last years playoffs Ja would stop in the paint and pop up with his floater. This year he’s driving right into the big man’s chest and it hasn’t been as effective. Hopefully he’ll start popping up and shooting again. It’s unstoppable and also opens up the corner kick out. -

Andre Iguodala Out for the entre series. He’s the only player they have than can stop Ja in my opinion. Now we get Steven Adam’s back. https://www.si.com/.amp/nba/2022/05/05/g...ies-series -
Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors - Game 2

When he was ejected I said we had a chance at winning. He is killing this team on offense. -
Memphis Grizzlies vs Golden State Warriors - Game 2

I’ve held back predictions for the series until I saw game one and how we responded to the opponents veteran experience. My gut tells me we’ll win 1 maybe 2 games in this series. But experience in the clutch is just too much to overcome. The W’s are insanely tenacious and those 3 vets aren’t just talented but they know how to win. They kept LeBron James from 3 more rings for a reason. Also, there’s just too much bravado with our stars right now. Arrogance in the playoffs is a killer. The experience our young core is getting will prove to be priceless and humbling in the long run. Which is exactly what they need. They’ve won a series. Now they are going to learn the sting of losing to a more veteran savvy team. If they are the team that we hope will someday be a champion, they will grow from the experience the W’s are about to provide. Hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am. -
Memphis Grizzlies vs Minnesota Timberwolves- Round 1

I’ll re-post what I’ve already said. I’m tired of hearing this narrative that they are giving us these games. It’s a 4 quarter game. If people are going to say that they are handing us these games after they have big leads… But we are the ones who are consistently playing better in the clutch in the fourth quarter, couldn’t it just as easily be said we are handing them their big leads, as we are obviously proving to be the best team when it matters? It’s as simple as this, we have won 3 games because we have been the best team over 48 minutes. They have won 2 games for the same reason. On to game 6. If we win tonight, most of our predictions of winning in 6 will be correct. -

So now maybe we can just play that tough perimeter defense the entire game. Not gonna lie it’s driving me effing crazy. -

I honestly think we get too caught up in the moment and trash talk and thinking since they won this one, “oh yeah, we got them figured out now.” Which is never the case. Each game becomes its own entity. Veterans know this. That’s why I don’t think we make it past Golden State. However, the experience we are getting at a young age is going to prove priceless. Our young team will figure this out. Also, team management is leaning which of these young players have it in their system to step up in the big moments and which ones melt. I expect there’ll be some trades this off season of some pieces that we all once felt were irreplaceable.
