I don’t think there’s much of a difference in our two strategies, and there certainly wouldn’t be a big difference in results. I’d go after Lin because I don’t necessarily believe in Carter as the 3rd PG but I’d be fine to let Jevon start there and see what we have. I’d only go after Lopez if JV walks - and I’d let him walk if his price is too high. Either way, I’d say those moves are probably the difference between maybe 26 wins to 29 wins.

Yep, I’d be looking at trading Bradley for a deal another team is needing to get off of in exchange for a pick or two. An example that comes to mind is Charlotte. If Kemba comes back they are going to have to trade either MKG or Biyombo in order to stay under the tax. We trade them Bradley for one of those guys and a future 1st or a handful of 2nds and then they cut him.

There is just no chance this team is making the playoffs this year.

What would your reasonable plan be?

That non-guaranteed contract is very valuable in that it is one of the best ways a team (probably a contender) has to get off a legitimate amount of money.

There’s no way they are keeping Bradley.

In some ways, yes. But he’s pretty slight of frame too.

Elfrid does make some sense. I think you need a bigger guard to protect Ja.

I want Delon and Joakim back, JV if the money is right. I think I’d target Jeremy Lin as a potential backup PG or third PG if Delon comes back. As for C’s, if JV doesn’t come back I’d go after Robin Lopez or Zaza. Looney too but all indications are the Warriors are going to pay him.

5 star recruit out of high school. I’m excited that we get the first look at him. He might be trash but at least we get first dibs if he isn’t.

The point has never been that JV isn’t good or wouldn’t help this team and JJJ. The point is that JJJ is the center of the future. It’ll probably take him another year or two to beef up enough to get there. If JV demands a contract that extends into JJJ’s window then you shake his hand and tell him good luck.

    Yep- getting him is exciting.

Fantastic draft for the Grizz. Would like to jump in for Bol but I understand that might be asking too much.

Wexler, Cho and Grunwald are very analytics driven, and Tayshaun pushes defense. May need to look in this mold for our projections at #23. The answer may be whichever prospect drops to them.
