GRIZZ are playoff bound in 2019

You don’t want to. You already know what you have in jona. You don’t just let him walk when his contract has more value than cap space.

My point still remains. He’s getting paid more than 15 mil per year.

    Yea they are.

Good luck trying to get them to trade him. At 24 years of age at that. You can find one player while I can find 10 more making the market value. They signed him with potential. He’s out performed said potential. Same thing with vuc. Now vuc is about to get paid his market value and people already knew Jonas value (which is where it’s at)

His contract in total is still along the lines of what to expect with JV. Also, I’d post pictures from my phone but this forum sucks with that so. Hoopshype has Clint at 15.7 for 2018-19 16.8 for 2019-2020 18 for 20-21 and 19 mil for 21-22 doesnt matter how it’s structured.hes still making 15-19 mil per season under his new contract.

Nurkic is under contract until 2022 and is currently overplaying his contract. I’ve always liked him. He’s worth similar money as JV.

Well you are in luck, because Jonas avg 14.6 in 24mpg last time he was in the playoffs along with 10rpg. carry on with your illogical thinking and also realize that any all star big is going to command more than 15-18 mil per game. Btw you are wrong. This year Clint makes 15.6 and next year he makes 16 and next he makes 18. congratulations on your failure at being able to read numbers.

I’m talking about Vuc upping his contract value whereas JV and Clint pretty much are playing to what their current contract is worth. Also, Clint is only playing to his contract because of Harden. Jonas doesn’t need a Harden to be effective.

I know, that’s my point with Vuc. As of right now Vuc makes less. When it’s all said and done it will even out. Job and didn’t up his contract value. But he sure as heck didn’t show that he was worth less.

Makes no difference. You know what the Grizz have that the Rockets dont? JJJ. You are equating his value to the ability to shoot, which btw JV is not bad at and definitely better than Clint. Again, if you look at NBA contracts as a whole, if you think JV is worth less than 15 mil a year you are asinine.

Most of them. Vucevic is going to get paid more. Adams makes more. Capela and JV are right in line with what their value brings.

He’s not overpaid. Steven Adams is. But him and capela relatively speaking they are on good contracts.

His contract as it is is already of value for top tier centers.

Actually I bet there are many teams that would offer him what he’s already making

He’s not a 5th-7th option but he is a good 3-4 option. He doesn’t need the ball constantly to put in work. His rebounding and ability to finish at a high clip will make him one of the top scorers in this team by default.

    The Brandon Clarke thread

Maybe. I’d be ok with that over Jarnell. But either way I think we may be looking too much into what he could possibly do for us.

    The Brandon Clarke thread

I’m worried about Clarke. I know he’s analytically the second best player behind Zion in this draft but he reminds me of Jarnell Stokes.

Gonna take Jaren 36mpg (assuming he can stay on the floor that long) just to fall below what JV avgs in 28mpg

They can take all the shots. Doesn’t mean they will score more than JV. Efficiency in taking less shots means a lot. Honestly though the role is going to be similar to Marc in regards to what age was for ZBO. At least that’s how I see it starting out. They are going to get JJJ highly involved early like ZBO.

That still doesn’t mean that people aren’t going to tank ala New York etc. If you have the worst record in the league you are guaranteed no lower than 4th pick I think.

    Roster Moves

Jaren Jackson is another Pascal Siakim but with a jump shot. Almost identical game. https://www.facebook.com/8245623462/posts/10157641140978463?s=100001764273479&v=e&sfns=mo
  23. You would be underpaying at 10mil a year for what he gives you. Get out of here with that crap
  24. Pascal had to earn his spot. If Jarens better he’s better. Let him prove it. Along the way the players you sign can be valuable trade assets.
  25. Doesn’t have to, and never really made sense to me. Jaren could just be another pascal Siakim. That in itself is fine, but he isn’t a number one option. And not a franchise tag player. Until he proves otherwise on a team with players supposedly better than him I want him to work for it. Not be handed it. and while the NBA has “good players” there is still a major difference between what makes a team successful vs not.
