Hey, the excitement here leading up to the game is really something.

I remember when an average game thread would have 2-4 pages of pregame content, and ended with about 15 pages.

I think this new forum format has more posts per page no? Not sure but it seems like it. Used to be numbered too, this new format has been pretty crappy compared to one before.

This team just looks much better since Fizz left.

As far as pace and space? Marc is still helping with that but when he’s out they are playing as they should.

why does Marc constantly keep trying to make off dribble moves in paint.   he gets stripped like 80% of the time.

Why are you worried about it? He’s 4/4 from the field and has 2 assist and a rebound in only 9 minutes.

Because he got stripped and it turned into 2pts for raptors.   It has been happening all season with the exact same results.

I am talking about literal pace - the pace went up as soon as DD replaced him.

Just now, Memphis Maverick said:

Oh wait, now Marc’s creating offense

on this current squad only Tyreke, Parsons and Marc can score in halfcourt offense.    That is the reason why they shouldn't run halfcourt offense on most possessions..

Unfortunately that’s not how basketball works. You can’t just run and gun all game. Defenses get back, etc.

Explain that to the other 29 teams that are doing it.   Unfortunately that is how the new NBA works and you either adapt or die.   Or do you think our dead last in pace is the secret recipe to all the wins we have been stacking lately?
