Would love the manimal

On a different note: Monta Ellis discussing buy out with Pacers

Have no idea what he still has left in the tank. He seems like an old 31. He would probably come there. Not sure if he and his wife still live in Memphis but he would be better off of the bench than a lot of what we have.

Apparently, in order to fit Millsaps salary, the Nuggets are offerin Will Barton for only a 2nd round pick.

Would choose Will Barton over Tyreke (For the former Tiger options), especially at a 1 year expiring contract of $3.6 mm.

Probably would choose Barton over Ben McLemore for that matter.

The roster is getting awfully crowded.

Another great move by a great front office that we know nothing about.

Seriously might be rooting for the Celtics next year, too bad they can be in the West to try and bring down the Warriors though..

Let's see if that's enough to beat the Cavs

WOJ reported we are now in talks with J.Mike.  Were the Grizz waiting on Zbo to set the market or trying to low ball him?

When you blow your entire cap on 3 players and one of them is an injured bum that wasn't an NBA player last year, you're just not going to have a lot of flexibility.

That is another reason why developing young talent is important, Wolves are able to add Butler and Gibson, Denver are able to add Millsap, etc. because some of their best players are still on their rookie deal or barely had their first extensions.

That's part of the benefit for the Timberwolves.

When you haven't been in the playoffs since before the George Bush-John Kerry election, you are bound to pick up some young assets eventually.

Jeez...I can't imagine what 13 years of no POs would look like in Memphis.

Periods during the three year plan provided enough preview for me.

Hayward has now officially chosen the Celts. Actually good for the GrIzzz but I'm still not confident we will make the playoffs. Might as well blow it up.

1) warriors

2) spurs

3) rockets

4) thunder

Then the next 4 spots will be decided between 5 teams : the Blazers, Timberwolves, Grizz, Nuggets and Pelicans.

Suns, Lakers, Mavs, Kings, Clippers and Jazz ain't making the POs.

The chances of the Grizz making the POs are better than you think. We would need to retain Jam at PF or get someone comparable.

I wouldn't write-off the Clippers so quickly. Truth be told, we have 3 players, an oft-injured vet and a bunch of inexperienced guys. 1 of those players has barely been in healthy in the past 3 years, another one of those players has suffered a broken face and broken back in the past 3 years and the last one had a serious foot injury. You can add B Wright in the mix but he has played less than 25% of available games in his 2 seasons with Memphis. If all 4 of our "vets" are healthy and playing at an optimal level all season and BMac works out and turns the corner and other guys step up, I agree with you, but the chances of all of that happening are slim.

Also, Minny is clearly better than us with the additions of Butler, Teague and Gibson added to Wiggins and KAT. I would be surprised if they didn't make the playoffs.

They probably knew they couldn't have both, so now that ZBo is gone, there is more urgency

The strange part in all of this: if the Kings we're going to pay $12M per year for a FA PF, why not go after JAM? Does this mean we are about to overpay for Green?
