It's Time To Talk About Marc Gasol

Just curious but does Gasol's level of play go up when Conley returns?

    Every Team's Projected 2017-18 Record

But I probably need to keep an eye on Chip, eh?!

    Every Team's Projected 2017-18 Record

I am not sure. Been away from the boards for too long myself. I plan to be more active this coming season. Let me know if I need to put the smack down on anyone!

    Every Team's Projected 2017-18 Record

This guy projects the Grizz at 35 wins and missing the playoffs. While the West got stronger in the off season, are the Grizzlies really that bad? Barely ahead of the Lakers and tied with the Mavs in this guys rankings?

. Chip, you have been called worse than a big nut on these boards. LOL.

The Real Reason Zbo Isn't Playing

So breaking this down, we are trading Zbo for Young. Cleveland is trading a first round pick for Koufous. Boston trades Green to Memphis for Q and a first round pick. Why would not only Memphis but Cleveland do this?

    Nut Heads IV

So this thread is 8 years old. Is it time for a Nut roll call? Curious where the Nuts from back in the day are at.

Pick 10 - Knight And Day

There is no reason the guys can't start out 8 - 2. Therefore, I will guess 6 - 4 and 99 vs Bucks.

    Nut Heads IV

Season is about to start, must be time to scratch the itch. I predict the Grizzlies will start better than 10 - 15 this season.
  10. Sixthman knows where I stand and am glad the streak continues. I think the only streak longer on this board is a certain moderator's streak of banning at least one poster per year for inappropriate behavior or content.

    About This Sterling Stuff

A little clean up on this topic seemed to be in order. I think the point of the original post is that there are other definitions of the word as noted below from that I wasn't aware of. noun 1. Slang: Extremely Disparaging and Offensive. a. a black person. b. a member of any dark-skinned people. 2. Slang: Extremely Disparaging and Offensive. a person of any race or origin regarded as contemptible, inferior, ignorant, etc. 3. a victim of prejudice similar to that suffered by blacks; a person who is economically, politically, or socially disenfranchised.

    Game 6 - Who's In?

I am heading towards the TV to catch the game from Louisville tonight. Next week I will be in OKC, so after the Grizzlies wrap things up tonight, I will look good in Memphis gear in OKC!
  13. 8 - 4 because Chip is a know it all knows all! 106 vs Lakers I would like to think we are getting playoff ready, but will go conservative with a 3 - 2 record on the road trip.

More lurking than posting but the nutcracker is always within reach in case I need some nuts to go with a cold beer!
  15. Does anyone else get a sick feeling when looking at the standings and seeing the Grizzlies with the 11th best record in the NBA right now yet out of a playoff spot? Would anyone look forward to seeing a terrible Atlanta team with the 8th seed? How many NBA fans would like to see Atlanta vs Miami or Indy in the first round? What if the Grizzlies were playing in the first round vs Miami or Indy? So what could be done about teams with much better records making the playoffs versus teams with losing records? What if the final two seeds were open to teams from either conference based on record? Would that lend some excitement to what often times are bad first round match-ups between the one and eight seed? It would change things up from seeing the same match-ups each year. Think of Indy vs MN and Grizzlies vs Miami for example. Sounds better than Indy vs Hawks and Charlotte vs Miami (although Charlotte is playing well right now). Anyone else have some ideas on ways to change the playoff format?
