A humorous look at something we should all take semi-seriously.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me use this example to introduce you to... The ignore list!

Four simple steps:

1. Click on the name.
2. On the menu that appears, click on view member profile.
3. On the left menu, look for options.
4. Just pick ignore user, and confirm in the upcoming screen.

Makes your life easier, and now, if the administrator could let us ignore threats initiated by posters on our ignore lists, life could go back to being wonderful, despite of the crisis and the team record.

I know, right? This kid keeps calling people names to. I always thought that was one of the big no-no's around here??? ' guess not.

Where's that video on opinions? That was funny, and relevant.

Ignoring people is for sissies. No matter what he says it just screams how sensitive you are to other peoples words. If something posted here offends you that badly by all means LEAVE dont ignore people. Ignoring is for cowards.

well...unless that was a joke post.

It doesn't offend me. It just wastes my time, and makes it difficult to follow a threat with meaningful posts. And that's what I come to do here, share my thoughts, and read other people's. But when some person disturbs your goal, you can just ignore him.

I bet that many people (you included) jumps over posts just to find out what is interesting to him. Well, I just wanted to let people know that there's a tool in this message board that helps you. If you find someone annoying, for any give reason, you have several options:

1) Get annoyed but don't answer.
2) Get into flame wars, reducing the quality of the message boards on the process.
3) Leave, because there is no point in wasting your time getting annoyed.
4) Ignore that user, using the classic scroll down fast or the more sophisticated ignore list.

I picked number 4. And guess what? That's the one that works best with trolls. Being able to enjoy the posters you like while not suffering the ones you don't like sounds good to me, which doesn't equal to I'm ignoring you because don't like my player and you have different opinions!

But I guess I should read them and stand still like a tough man. And after that I will go and hang around with that guy I hate, watch that TV show that's extremely bad and play that game that I don't enjoy.
