Rankings are back but with a twist. Some of you will still be Rookies and others will still be Hall of Famers, but the rest in between have changed.

We're rolling out some cool Season Ticket Holder stuff this year if you haven't heard and don't want any label conflicts or confusion.

Ranking levels with post milestones:
Rookie...
Starter: 200 posts
2nd Team: 700 posts
1st Team: 2000 posts
Champion: 3000 posts
Hall of Famer: 4000+ posts

(Previous rankings were: Rookie, Sophomore, Veteran, All-Star, MVP, Hall of Famer)

Thanks for the heads up on these ongoing updates. One day I hope to slow down enough to spend more time around the boards. As is, I am typing this from a plane getting ready to depart from Orlando to St Louis.

I like the link to the season ticket benefits. Those are some nice upgraded benefits that weren't around in my day as a season ticket holder. I congratulate the team on really making an effort to make it worth while to be a season ticket holder, differentiating the experience from someone who just buys a ticket for a game or two.

I miss the old "Date Registered".

As one of the borderline old timers, but someone who has a life, ur uh I mean doesn't post all day long, night and day, I felt it gave you some credibility.

Not to mention there are posters who have been registered since day one but only have a few hundred posts. They deserve to be recognized for that.

Just a thought since the topic was recognizing quantity, not quality tongue.gif

I agree completely!! There are some old timers around here who are still rookies based on their post count. Nevertheless, they've been members of the board since 2002. They should be recognized for that. Personally, I've been a member since 2004, but I've seen lots of members join and quickly leapfrog me in their post count. Those of us who are not high school students just don't have the time to post all day (Chip is of course the exception).

Is it possible to bring the registration date back?

Why is there such a big difference in the number of posts to go from 2nd Team to 1st Team?

From 1st Team to Hall of Famer is only 2,000 posts.

It should really be closer to 1500 posts. Man, it will take me a LONG time to get to one of the higher ranks. tongue.gif

Sorry, but as far as I know, it is impossible to gain ranks just by being "good". wink.gif
