I am now ready to believe DJ expects to lose this game and doesn't care.

He's got some things to show the top teams and he's not about to use them now.

You have to find SOMEthing good to believe, right?

Third 20+ blowout loss in a row. Stumble into the playoffs and get bounced again in the first round unless we face Dallas.

We are not advancing past the 2nd round either way.

Off season keep this entitled "core" and puppet coach and see the wheels fall off. (Chris Wallace as GM for You)

Somehow I expected the forum to go nuts and say we are out in the first round, but I'm finding a very realistic out on the second round opinon... Well, we might be out in the 1st round if the Spurs get a match up against us.

Looking at the standings right now, Houston is already on pair with us. After this game we come back to home games for a good bit so I'm trying to stay positive even if we don't get a good result out of this game.

Regarding the team performances, this is how I see it:

1. Defense is weaker. We don't need great offensive showing. If we defend as we know, things will work out.

2. Courtney Lee everything slump. The guy is looking like a 65 OVR starting SG on 2K. I know his hand was hurt, if it still is, we can't use him, he needs to rest.

3. Ball movement. We are coming back to ZBo isos on the high/low post. This results in more turnovers and worst shooting selection.

4. Joerger is too young to handle these guys... I'm all in the Dave train but he needs to grow a pair. I won't cuestion his coaching but the attitude doesn't seem the best from the outside.

While I would love a Grizzlies win today, I'm mainly wishing for a competitive game that gives me hope going forward.

Its big that we'll know the result to the Wizards/Rockets game before the team even plays. Just gotta keep pace with them and the Clips really, don't see Portland or SanAn catchin us.

Btw all the comments I've been readin can't be comin from Grizz fans. I mean wasn't there a point in the franchise where it took like 4 seasons to get to 50? Just relax and enjoy the ride, we are a great team, possibly the best this franchise has ever seen, and we're in a rut right now, that's all.

This one may fall into that category of "A MUST WIN". A loss today coupled with HOU at WSH and LAC at BOS wins automatically drops the Grizz to the 4 seed. With that only a 1 game lead over 5 seed LAC and a 2.5 game lead over 6 seed SAS and that is some dangerous ground our Grizz do not need to be treading. It is just time to right this ship and get back to winning bball. While the next few games are at home none will be easy unless they figure out what is ailing them. Right now the Grizz are the only one of that 4 team group not playing good and that needs to change today. IMO who they play in the postseason is not as important as maintaining the 2 seed and HCA in the 1st and 2nd rounds. The only way that happens is for them to find their MOJO and get themselves a 3 or 4 game winning streak. If they can do that then we, the fickle fans, will tend to forgive and forget the previous transgressions.

LETS GO MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES, GET IT DONE! MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I'd settle for MUST PLAY WELL.

Then win a lot of the remaining games.
