Hate to say it, but this is probably an automatic loss. Houston has our number. I can't remember the last time we beat them on the road.

Start of a losing streak...

this is why the NOLA loss hurts so bad. instead of beating up on the one weak team in our division to get that first win, we have to play Houston twice, a borderline elite team who has our number, and is now a must win game.

^ It's funny how posts like this are nowhere to be found during good times and yet minutes after a loss all the doom and gloom come out. It's as if they already have their posts typed up and just waiting for us to lose so they can hit the "post" button. SMH

on the other hand, if we can win this game, it'll probably be our most impressive win of the season

Tony has a broken bone in his wrist. The optimistic return was two weeks. Clearly the optimistic return hasn't happened.

Gee, I dunno if I should sit this one out or not. Clearly I thought for sure we would beat NOLA but nope.

That is a statement I can agree 100% with. No matter who you want to blame this was a game the team should have won and really needed to win as well.

Are the Grizzlies the first team to be 0-10 against their division opponents? The more games they lose in their division, the worst the team looks overall. I'm not sure if any team with that type of divisional record has ever had success in the playoffs or even made the playoffs.

Courtney Lee might score over 30 points, but I am afraid it won't be enough to get a W. Especially if Harden gets 25 FT's.

I hope Tony comes back so the Grizzlies can throw CLee, TA and JJ on Harden, Gasol neutralize Howard like he has so often in the past and Prince just contains Parsons (who scored 31 againt Batum yesterday). If those things happen (and I believe all are possible) then l like our chances with Conley vs Beverly and Z-Bo vs Montiejunas. Davis, Leuer, Koufas and Calathes also can't allow the Rockets to get off to a hot start to the fourth quarter like they have in the previous two meetings this season. The Grizzlies had them both times but couldn't withstand that 4th quarter onslaught.

They were playing 8 on 5 against us last time.

Relying on prince? Your optimism is admirable but misplaced.

Possibly. Only time will tell. Parson was red-hot in the first game on the way to 17 points and had 15 points and 11 boards in the second game. If the Grizzlies can keep Parsons under 20 points again and not break down at the start of the 4th period they should have an excellent opportunity to win. If they can't do that it will be difficult. Not impossible but difficult.

I just realized this game isn't till Friday! Why 3 days off? That is unusual and I don't like it especially after a loss.
