had no clue Okafur was on their team tho guess he's just an expiring contract. that Hornacek is a pretty good first year coach! B)

The last time we played them, it was without ZBo and everyone talked about how we looked good against a bad team. Now, look at them lol.

This is a loss.

The tandem of Dragic/Bledsoe are one of the best in the league they are also great finishers too both 47%
Gerald Green is playing the best basketball of his career
Plumlee is playing well too great rebounder and shot blocker
PJ Tucker has become one of the better defenders in the league

Hollins played NBA basketball and so did Hornacek. Joker watched. Does it matter? Has Hornacek ever played against Hollins (Portland vs. Utah)?

Greg Popovich never played.

Jason Kidd played and looks like a complete joke so far

Coaching and playing are two totally different skills. Magic Johnson was a great player, but he lacked something as a coach. Some good players make bad coaches, some non-players make great coaches and vice-versa.

Tangent: Are the Phoenix Suns going to be a playoff team in the WC?

They sit #5 in the West, and have been the top (positive) surprise in the NBA this year.

I do have a bit of hoping being that we beat them earlier this season pretty convincingly.

And with that, the Coach-must-have-played argument is now DEAD.

Let's just play hard for a full 48 and see what happens. It is getting rather tiring to hear the clips after each game and you always hear how they didn't maintain focus and really didn't play hard the entire game. Injuries, new coach and system, some new faces, whatever, the excuses stop now. Just play the darn game and play it hard. Let it fly and go ball!

Hollins was out of the league before Hornacek ever played
