Celtics are on the road at Detroit tonight. We're at home resting. This should be a Grizzlies win.

this Celtics team is horrendous, this should be a good game for our guys to beat up on them and get their confidence up

Celtics arent horrendous. They had 20 pt lead on the Bucks, and played Detroit just the way we played them. Their defende is still tough on perimeter. They have a good rim Brazilian rim protector and size everywhere. Green is playing 2 gaurd, their length will bother us. Offense their not but defense eill keep them in games. This is not automatic win for us. Ppl said Dallas wasnt good and we got whipped. Until we prove prove otherwise, we cant expect to roll through every team like last year.

We have lost to two playoff teams to start the year and coach is still feeling his way...but we can't lose to the celtics at home...2 problems I have noticed...Conley is playing like a guy without any plays for him or a role, TA should start at 3, tayshaun can be point forward off bench, Bayless is ineffective as pg...I would let Koufus back up the 4 and 5...he is our best big off the bench at any spot..I want to see the turnover #s down as well..may need to shrink playbook and add more later

We need to make some plays for Mike Miller so he can actually make rain some threes. Don't overuse him - 4 minutes in each quarter (maybe more in last) sounds good to me.

I actually disagree about Conley. He looks like he wants to be our best scorer while handling the offense. That load will wear him out especially with how he pays defense.

I do agree with JB. Playing the pg position had hindered his scoring which is what we need.

Coach Stevens is still looking for his first NBA Coaching WIN. They all but had the game last night until they lost it with 3 straight turnovers in the final 2 minutes of the game. This could be a really fun game

I'm going tonight despite getting back late last night from my best friends funeral. I need a win by the Grizzlies in the worst way!

I'll post a modification of what I posted for the Pistons game that gave some people diarrhea because they believe a revamped Pistons team is one of the top teams in the East.

The team that played in the WCF last year should not have any problems with the team that is projected to win 28 games this year.

This is a win, or else the wheels are a bit wobbly on the Grizzlies bandwagon.

My thing with the defense is that I understand that the increased pace will lead to a less effective defense. However, I still believe/want to believe that the same defenders on last years team are on this years team and that we should be able to get a key stop when we are on a run. It seems that, albeit a small sample size, opposing teams are getting to the rim at will with uncontested lay ups even in high pressure situations and we can't keep them in front of us without fouling.

Not doom and gloom yet, because like I said the same all-NBA defenders are on this roster that were on the last few, but they need to get that defensive mentality back.

MUST WIN. Marc Gasol needs to show Vitor Faverani who's boss. If they start Jeff Green and Gerald Wallace at the wings, I think we can go with TA on Green and then Prince on Gerald Wallace (although I would like to see how Mike Miller would do in a start). We might need MM's shooting more than we need a defender on Wallace.
