*If Necessary

Hey SixthMan, you need to remove that from game#5. We lost the first one, of course game #5 is going to be necessary!

This game decides the series. IF we lose in convincing fashion, they're simply wont be enough time to regroup and win 4 of the next 5. In the LAC series, we pretty much had stuff figured out by game 2 and lost purely because of a great shot by CP3. Win or lose, we have to show that we can compete with the Spurs this game. Do or die.

I would say if the Spurs beat us as bad as they did in game one, we probably will lose the series. Some improvement on our part must be made. If not we could be looking at being swept.

No panic win or loss...we will give a better effort ...they beat us by letting us beat ourselves ...won't happen twice ...

We only need to steal one from them at home to win the series.

Get ZBo involved early, don't overhelp and leave people open at the 3 point line, and stop with the uncharacteristic turnovers and this one is a win.

We can go down 0-2 and win this series, wasnt able to watch game 1 but sounds like we need to defend the three better and not let their role players murder us.

I'm going to put it quick for you
3PT FG for both teams

MEM - 5/12 from 3PT (41.7%)

Now are you sitting down for this?

SA - 14/29 from 3PT (48.3%)

Just make the Spurs miss 3's, we should be OK.

Also, enough with the TO's.
And Z-bo, you can do better than 2 points! That last game was atrocious

I think this game was an fluke but the Grizzlies have to play more aggressively on defense. They must stop the pick and roll with 2 guys, everyone else must stay on their man, no cheating. The Grizzlies may have to load up on 3 shooters, spread the Spurs out and play pick and roll with Conley and Gasol too. Ed Davis can get rebounds that Zbo can't, he must play more.

I missed the first game :( I heard it was a diZACHsTHUR.
Grizz will win the second game 94-88, then the 3rd 92-90, then they'll lose the 4th game in Memphis 88-98 and return to San Antonio 2-2 for #5 (loss) 92-98 then they'll win the game 6 in Memphis and the final game 7 in San Antonio. :P

I think the last game was nerves, we'll see a MUCH better game out of the Grizz. Can't wait till the series comes to Memphis, though!

We need a lineup change in my opinion.

A couple of options here.

1. Conley
2. TA
3. QPon
4. Z-Bo "Stop Tripping That's A Female"
5. Gasol

1. Conley
2. QPon
3. Z-Bo
4. Ed Davis (let him go in beast mode)
5. Gasol

This is probably the most nervous I've ever been about a Playoff game. This will decide the series IMO.

We have to show that we can play toe to toe with them. Must not let the Spurs jump on us early and lead by double digits at the half. Keep the game close going into the 4th quarter. Imo if we do, we win by 3 points.

Go Grizz!
