This time if scooter picks a loss he will finally be right. This one is a loss. New York wins big.

Pay back time for the Knicks. Carmelo may score more points against the Grizz than John Wall did. Kenyon Martin will own Z-BO, or any Grizz big that plays against him.

Oh yeah. Marc is out. Nuff said.

They are on the tail end of a B2B and they are old. That may help us some. It will be a good battle. I think that Wallace's talking may bring out the best ins ZBo and I think we will beat they ***. LOL.

I think we can win for sure. The Grizz seem to play up to the competition. Again, guys are going to have to step up in Big Spain's absence and ZBo needs to stop pouting about not hitting the game winner and getting owned by Collison during the OKC game.

I do believe this will be a win.... Our best players have too much pride to lose 3 in a row. It'll be a signature GNG emotional game, but I think ZBo can will us to the W.

Not sure you guys have been watching but we haven't lost 2 or 3 in a row and a NYK loss will not make it 3 or 4 in a row.

This is the Grizzlies record the last 5 games:
v MIN - WIN
v OKC - WIN
@ NOLA - LOSS
v BOS - WIN
@ WAS - LOSS

Unless you are talking about away games - then, yes we have lost the last 4 away games in a row

I see Marc's absence against a team like New York hurting us in three major and specific ways:

- His communication quarterbacking the defense will be sorely missed as the Knicks shooters will have a field day exploiting missed or late closeouts from the Grizzlies defenders.

- As a pseudo extension of number 1, Marc's attentiveness to the little things is paramount to what the Grizzlies do defensively, as it allows them to gamble and create havoc in the passing lanes. Without adequate expectation of backup on the front-lines, a milisecond of doubt is all it takes for the Grizz defenders to force the ref' hand in keeping them whistles active, spelling foul trouble for everybody (see Washington).

- The lack of inside presence imposed by his post play on the offensive end will allow the Knicks to have free rein to keep at least four shooters on the floor at all times, with little to no repercussion. Zbo alone won't be enough to punish them for going small, as he hasn't been his dominant self lately. Even if he was, his inability to effectively pass out of double teams can allow the Knicks to keep the Grizz post game contained without throwing an extra big out on the floor.

... but I still say Grizzlies win. And hopefully the Knick fans don't violently throw me out of the Garden!
