Pranica tweeted yesteray that trade is official and he would be available to play.
then I guess RonRon's preview is wrong when he said 10 players dressing? Grizz will have 11 players? or is someone else not playing?

Marc

DWill is mucb to physical for Mike. We have to play Wroten. We will miss Q because Joe is to big for any backup gaurds. Rudy will have trouble with Crash. Their front court is underrated defensively. I thinks this is bad matchup for us. We need bench to be big in this one.

I agree. Lopez will also give our bigs trouble. Would love to see Rudy get on fire and have his best game of the year.

On the Grizz/ Laker game thread I picked Lakers to beat us. I was wrong, big time! But Brooklyn is a very hot team right now. So:.......

Here I go again: Nets 91 Grizz 86

On my 10 game thread I picked Grizz wins over Lakers and Nets. But then, I alternate between manic and depressive episodes. (depending on alcohol consumption)

On a more sane and sober note; let me say: GO GRIZZ! WIN!

Will the Grizzlies be fined by the league for each game they violate the CBA?

Quote

A team must have 13 players on its active roster

I know they can send players to Dleague and they are still on the active roster but now even counting QPON the roster only has 12. Isn't that a violation?

Haddadi got beat off the dribble? Really?

I saw Leuer in college and he is a good shooter and suprisingly athletic.

I know, imagine that . Leuer was able to get around HH. LOL. No, what I meant by that was that Leuer was aggressive. The move impressed the guys. I am just hoping that he can get a little PT.

Would love to have a 6-10 guy that can space the floor and drain shots but can get around his defender at times and will take it to the hoop and jam. Glad he didnt try the equivalent of Marc's "Euro-bunny" shot where instead of jamming it at 7-1, he does the cutsie layup off the square. That drives me crazy when he does that.

So come on JonL. Welcome to MEM.

I feel like every game is going to be, then he kinda just goes out and does the normal. I'm waiting on his dominance to sink into his head. He could be such a force WHEN he has his assertiveness

I hope the Griz win this one, but I can see them dropping this one too. The Nets are playing really good basketball right now and we're still looking for answers at this point. I'm in more of a "Wait and see" mood for this one.

Go Griz!!

Read some interesting things about Leuer in Tillery's blog. Said in practice, he went right around Haddadi and dunked. The guys erupted. Maybe the kid will be aggressive and try to make the most of being on a playoff caliber team for the rest of this year. Plus, I believe the guy can shoot for a 6-10 player. Hope Lionel actually puts Leuer out on the court for a couple mins and sees what he can do.

Leuer is quick but remember he's only 6'10"/228 as opposed to Hamed's 265/7'2", hamed is probably 270+ by now so anyone 4" shorter and 40 pounds lighter can out-speed him. But when it comes to rebounding, strength, wingspan and defensive effectiveness again Hamed had the advantage.

No wonder there are rumors of the Nets wanting Gay; Gerald Wallace is horrid on offense
