Lakers and winning do go together a lot of the time. Lakers and class simply do not. It completely ruins the game experience at FEF for me when the Laker fans stand up and laugh because someone breathed hard on Kobe and had a foul called on him. The Laker fans know it is BS and they will look at you and laugh and say something obnoxious even though they know they are getting away with "murder" so to speak.

The middle aged ladies screaming "Kobe, that's my baby" whenever he goes to the foul line are just sickening.

It if was just about cheering for one's team, that would be one thing, but Laker fans take it to a level not seen before. No class at all.

I get so frustrated. I can't stand listening to the faker fans and their cheering as loud as possible every time Kobe scores. grizz nation and the "grind house" will actually show up and they won't be heard so much. The grind house shouldnt just be when the playoffs are going on or when we play the lakers or heat either. It should be every night. I couldnt believe the crowd monday night and i wasnt really happy with friday against the knicks.

The refs normally screw us on games like these too

Sure was fun watching the end of the Sacto game. Sacto scores, Kobe gets the ball, rest of Lakers stop running because they know he's not going to pass it. Five, six possessions in a row. What a **** he is.

If he tries that in the last two minutes while we're whuppin' em, I want HH in there to remind Kobe what's what.

Do you all think that we have a decent chance to get a fairly officiated game, or will we basically have to beat them to a pulp like we did to OKC in order to put up a barely 10 point margin in the end of what would have been a 20+ point beat down if the officiating was remotely even?

THIS^^^. The Lakers are 5-2 since the coaching change. They now have D'Antoni at the helm. They must be protected to make sure they get back in the race for a top seed in the West. Its all about the "Benjamins" as they say and a good Laker team in the mix for playoff seeding means mucho Benjamins for the NBA.

Long live the memory of the Downtown Debacle last year! 34-5 ft attempt discrepancy! 2 of our 5 were shots on technical fouls! The refs went to the monitors to see if there was a clear path foul on Matt Barnes and we all had to watch them determine he tripped over his own foot but still had to award him because they can't change the call?!?!??? Led to 5 point possession which was the beginning of stealing our 17 point lead! Double overtime loss. We ended up getting 4th seed because Lakers got tie breaker from this!

Therefore it is up to MC11 to dominate and control the game.

The big wildcard is the bench. Will Speights be a spazz and continue his "non smart-soft" play on big stages? Will Ellington be able to stay on the floor long enough to get his stroke going?

I believe JBay will bring it like he always does. So will be up to QPon, Speights, Ellington to punish their bench. Its their 3rd game in 4 nights.

Lets just hope for mid to upper 40% shooting and no giving up 21 offensive rebounds.

Refs???? well who knows what kind of deal we will get from them. All we want is to be fair on both sides, but against LAL, that is a tall order.

yep, our ole buddy Ken Mauer made that call. MHeis said he had to get up and leave his seat and couldnt watch anymore after that ridiculous call. 5 FT attempts for a team who made their living in the paint. Never will forget the punk Laker fans at the game who just laughed and expected the ridiculous treatment the refs gave them last year.

Yeah, we're going to have to kill em b/c if they are 10 or under towards the end, the refs will make sure Kobe gets to the line. Also, since D'antoni is new with them, they want to make it into a come back story or something for the coach and get the Lakers back on track like Southbluffgrizz mentioned.

Since they lost to Sac the other day I expect the refs to be favoring them pretty heavily, lets just hope I'm wrong which most of the time I am.

Well as an old Blazer fan, Beat LA signs are up in Portland all year around and about the only Laker fan you see is Jack NicOLDson.Once the Refs had to have armed escorts off the court. heeheehee
