This could be tough. They have a good front line. Like to see the fans rewarded with a win in the home opener.

Sacrifice, Dedication. Ovinton reference aside, that's devotion man!

Side-note: It just hit me... I have to miss this one, because I'm going to the Nets game to check out the Barclays Center. Weak sauce.

WTF?!!!! You're supposed to check out the Barclays Center when the Grizzlies get to town!

I'm counting this as a win. The fans should be rowdy for this one.

I think the Jazz are the most dangerous team in the West because most underestimate them. They will get a lot of wins this year because teams will not bring their "A" game until it's too late. If we slack off they will beat us. Coach has 2 days to drive this into our guys heads.
Grizzlies by 7.

Go Grizz!!!

:D

I've already got my tickets for that one as well! I'm just too impatient to wait 'till Feb... If I had done it right though, I'd have made sure that it coincided with a Grizzlies day off!

I remember last year at FEF, ESPN was in town to broadcast the game nationally. We wore the horrid yellow and green uniforms. i was lucky and got to sit down on the floor next to Chris Mullen and Dan Schulman for ESPN. And we proceeded to get waxed right there on national TV.

Gordon Heyward went nuts on Rudy (who wasnt in a defense mood that night) and scored 20+ pts. Big Al and Millsap were their normal selves and we flat got beat. I remember reading that the Jazz really wanted that game and were whoopin it up in the visitors' lockerroom afterwards. Incidentally the Jazz went right on down to NOLA the next night and Greivis and Co. beat them.

My point is the Jazz are tough to play against for the Grizz because they have good post players as well. It would really be swell if we could actually win a home opener. The GS win was good, now lets build on it and actually get above .500 before December or January. LOL.

YAY Utah won't play us small like the warriors and Clipps is gonna be battle down low.

At end of the Rudy is the key Marvin and Carrol should be somewhat easy.

I noticed Hollins would use rookies or young bench players more often at home than on the road. I wonder if we will see either of Selby or Wroten in this game. Can't wait 'til tomorrow.

Well, hopefully not so much grime but more Grit n' Grind. hehe. Couldn't resist.

Utah is always tough and I'm going to be ****** if Rudy lets Hayward go nuts on us again. We got em. 96-89.

Still plenty of tickets, and that was with the Conley ticket donation.

I think our perimeter defense and shooting has improved since last year. I think we have the edge in the backcourt for sure.
