Would hate to have sweep us in the regular season. Big challenge, but doable.

Now....I would agree with this.

This is actually a team I would start OJ at PG against (especially with Conley's sprained ankle).

This is a game I would love the Grizzlies to win.....Now that Fisher is playing for these chumps.....makes me want the Grizz to win just that much more. If they can just hold KD and Westbrook to under 50 comb. points...I think we got it. Hope Zach goes nuts on em.

I like OKC except for Westbrook. I respect his game, but there's just something about his demeanor that irks me.

Imo, If we had Conley back at full strength we would beat these guys.

They are still beatable. What NBA team isn't? Go Grizz! You guys took them to 7 games before they beat you on their home court.
I ,for one, believe in you.

I feel that same way except its James Harden who i just cannot stand. I think he is a POS who has chosen to play the game with "acting" and "selling" that he is fouled on every play when you barely touch him. He flails his arms and screams as if he was just molested. I think it is a punk way to play the game and I just cannot stand him.

But I do recognize that Harden is supremely talented and can attack the basket as well as shoot the 3. His basketball talent is without question, but I just cannot stand his demeanor on the court and his "acting."

I think KDurant is a good kid. He seems to say the right things and is about as humble as someone with all his talent and superstardom can be. Westbrook....well.....he is in a tough situation in that on most any other team, he would be the MAN, but he cant be the MAN, because they already have a MAN who is more the MAN than Westbrook can be.

But Westbrook is okay to me. He smirks sometimes and he gets excited but man he is fast with the ball and extremely hard to guard. I really hope MC11 ankle is better, cause he is going to be needing to have all his quickness on Monday

Mayo on Westbrook would be a good matchup, especially given their history which goes way back.

what is the official status of Mike C and Dante Cunningham? Is either or both expected to be available for OKC? Im assuming that since MC11 finished the game in Houston, that he could have played in MIL but was held out to get some more healing for OKC.

Dante's sprain looked pretty painful. He came out and shot with the team at halftime of the Houston game but didnt play. Has anyone heard if he may be available Monday?

Just a thought: What about just holding Mike Conley out no matter what and letting the backup PGs--OJ, Arenas, and Pargo (limited mins please) try to get more minutes-especially Arenas.

Most people are penciling this in as a loss. Why risk Mike rolling his ankle again in a game that we most likely are going to lose anyway when he can keep healing and be heathier down the stretch in games we have to win.

A loss to OKC right now doesnt matter anyway. Its the playoffs that matters and to lose Mike for a week or so if he reinjures that ankle would be way more hurtful to the team than losing to OKC. Plus it would be more opportunity for Gilbert to get some minutes against quatlity opposition

Something fun that Eric Hasseltine mentioned on the radio last night. The entire team flew to OKC today and are at the game to watch the Thunder play the Bulls. Nothing like a little live scouting, I say. The players get a chance to relax, but at the same time see the habits of their opponents.
