Seems a little harsh and degrading to a player of his caliber. They say they want him to get his Bball legs back since he's had a break with the personal family issues or whatever. But wow....former 6th man of the year going to D-league.

Well that sure didn't last long... He gets demoted to the D-League and then is recalled just a day later. Very odd.
It almost makes you wonder if the Mavs used this as some sort of disciplinary tactic.
By the way, I thought there was some rule that only allowed rookies/second year players to be sent to the D-League. Did that change with the new CBA?

yeah, they probably did it so he can have a piece of some humble pie.....but they should've at least followed through with it. I think i read on the article that he was gone for like a week b/c someone in his family was "sick" but they found it wasn't as serious as he made it out to be. Correct me if I'm wrong.
