Works straight up: http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=ox5569x

Green/Mario for Jennings/Meeks works too: http://espn.go.com/n...tradeId=zlxefzv

I know they're both coming off injuries, but Jennings can ball. Who knows maybe he would outplay Mike. Meeks would be hands down the best 3-point shooter on the team too.

I think the problem with your trade suggestion is revealed in your own comments. Jeff Green is a known if disliked commodity. Jennings has lost his job in Detroit after being chased out of Milwaukee and is coming off a knee injury.

Mike averaged 15 and 5.5 assists last year. Jennings put up 15 points and 6.6 assists a game last year in 3 less minutes. You're right Milwakeee let him go and Detroit decided to go with Jackson. That's good for us. He'd be a good sixth man that can sometimes get really hot from 3. The Pistons do it because they are extremely thin at the wing and need more help at that position come playoff time. Only problem I see with the trade is Jennings is coming off an injury so that makes it a risk, but if it doesn't work he's off the books at the end of the season.

So we give up 2 rotation players in the hopes that one of the players that we acquire may bounce back from injury to return to whatever he was before, humble himself to come off of the bench and trust that he would re-sign with us? I know that Green and Lee are on expirings as well but why disrupt the team in that way? you may as well play the season out with what you have. Also, who knows what Meeks would be?
