There is no way on earth that Memphis should be an 8 seed. If Duke or UNC had the same record the tigers had they'd (they are a 3 seed). You can't tell me that Duke had more quality wins than Memphis had this year, but Memphis gets an 8/9 seed once again, because of the NCAA bias.

Kentucky has literally 1 top 25 win on its resume, lost 3 times to Florida and still gets an 8 seed. The tigers should have been a 5th seed at worst.

I agree. The AAC was screwed in general. Louisville a 4 seed? NC State/Tennessee over SMU? Just ridiculous.

The Tigers got blown off their own court in their first game of the conf tourney, lucky to be where they are.

I don't disagree with this, but other teams (duke, for example) don't do anything but still get a sweet seeding.

Also, every year it seems the ncaa committee pits the tigers against the best slow down team in the country. Two years ago it was Saint Louis, this year the get UoV in the round of 32 if they can get by GW.

Any team that gets waxed 3 times in a row by the same squad and 2 by another squad deserves an 8 seed.

I have 3 number one seeds losing in the second round.

I have us going to the Sweet 16. My Final Four is Kansas, Iowa St., Oklahoma St., and Louisville with Louisville over Kansas for the title.

The South Region here might be awesome with Florida, UCLA, Syracuse, and Kansas. I wouldn't mind going to that!

Hope it isn't a double dose of disappointment that night for Memphis fans.

Grizz play Heat at almost the same time.

Who knows. Usually when you expect the least, teams deliver the most. I think Memphis teams will go 2-0 on Friday night.

what 5, 6 or 7th seed should Memphis be seeded over? Leaving Smu out is a disgrace though. They were just in the top 25 last week

George Washington and Virginia don't scare me, unless we are refighting the Revolutionary War.

The seeding is wacky but they have a terrific bracket. UVA is beatable. I don't think they will get past them - but if they do - clear path to the Final Four.

Provided they don't run into Cincinnati or UConn, both in their region.

The AAC has four teams in the tournament and 3 in the same region. That's odd isn't it?
