Prince will recieve a really warm welcome I assume especially b/c I don't think he really had a chance to say bye since the move was so sudden and all. This is one of those games that we have to win simply b/c we're better than them. I hope they (Grizzlies) don't play down to their competition again. GO GRIZZLIES!!

Not to be Debbie Downer or anything but the first game back from the ASB can be tricky. Some of the guys took a vacation. But now coming back, will they be sharp? Will the Grizzlies, as you say, play down to the competition? MEM is notorious for that. Who knows why?

We actually have a little, slight, tiny lead on DEN for the 4th spot. We have 2 sub .500 eastern teams coming up in a mid week back to back on the road. An elite team, a solid team, a playoff caliber team would come back, do the work, take care of business and win this game/these games. What will MEM do?

Personally, I think we are going to lose to TOR, so we really need to win this game in DET. Starting out 0-2 coming back from the Break will not be the way to start things.

Road games always tough. And Calderon makes Detroit better. He had 24 points in their last game against the Wizards. They are decent at home 15 and 15, and still have an outside shot of sneaking in to the play-offs. They are only 6 and 1/2 games out of 8th spot in the East.( That's not insurmountable now that they have added Calderon ).

I still think we should win this game. I hope "Tay" Prince has his best game of the year. Detroit fans love this guy; and they should.
Great B-Ball IQ, plays the game the way it should be played. Has lost a step or two since his his prime years; but he's a winner, and I'm proud to say he's a Grizz. Go Grizz !!

Hope Prince hits a game winner. And by that I mean I hope he scores the first bucket of the game and the game is never tied after that.

I agree with Debbie Downer here. These games off of ASB have been hit and miss, and I think the Grizzlies have lost the first game back 3 of the last 4 years.

However, this year's team (pre and post Rudy trade) have done a pretty good job of taking care of teams they should beat. Yes they have been upset, but most teams get beat by lesser competition every once in a while.

Not an easy win, but I still expect it to be close. I'm looking forward to seeing Greg Monroe.

Also, Daye is coming back as well. It will be interesting to see the reception he gets. While his Pistons career is no where near what Prince had, it still will be emotional to go back against the old teammates.

I wonder how JB will do. He beat Jose out twice but got dumped by the Raps. He might want to prove once and for all that he is the better player.

Well, I can't think of a better time for JB to make his point(s) (No pun intended) .
