It's not his fault that Pete and others have thrown the Dilly Dilly nickname on him, and now he bears the load of a bad nickname which is hurting his performance.

Yeah, because all through his life so far no one would EVER have thought of that nickname.

Jayson Tatum is a rookie.  He's 19 years old.  Just sayin'

Jayson Tatum had a year of college and he is only averaging 13.8 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 1.3 apg. LeBron James came straight from high school and averaged 20.9 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 5.9 apg. Obviously Jayson Tatum sucks. Or this could be just as stupid of a comparison as the one you just tried.

Does 14ppg suck for a 19 year old rookie?

Let's compare:

Also scoring around 14ppg...

Dion Waiters

Caldwell-Pope

Al Horford

Andre Drummond

Serge Ibaka

Thaddeus Young

Six boards a game so far?  Who else is rebounding at that clip?

Porzingas

Carmelo Anthony

Nowitzki

Robin Lopez

Faried

Ibaka, Koustas, etc.

Not at all. You obviously missed the point I was getting at. What sucks is people who try to compare players picked in the top 3 of the first round with players picked in the second round. We get it Jayson Tatum is better than Brooks. Doesn't make it bad. Just as Lebron James being better than Tatum doesn't mean Tatum sucks.
