This would be a perfect game to start Reke at SG and give Simmons some time at backup PG.  Lillard and McCollum are below average defenders, Reke and Simmons would KILL them off dribble.

That's the point of giving him a two-way contract. I hope they play him too.

Gizz lose this then the truth comes out. Sub .500 team, this team just can't hang. Lack of elite talent, weak leaders, average coaching and of course miserable F.O.

Man if we don't stop McCollum on the perimeter we will be toast.

He did this to us the last time we played

this team has got to be the worst shooting team in all of basketball.  I know they may pad their shooting stats late in games but now they are shooting in the mid 30%s and are giving up 67% shooting from the 3 pt line.   If they cannot put the ball in the hoop, it wont matter what kind of defense they play.  Sooner or later, they will get frustrated and will stop hustling. They have got to see the ball go in the net to get their morale up so they can play tough D.

Never seen a team miss so many shots inside the paint like MEM does.  Might be okay tonight but overall, they just miss shots.   When they were winning earlier in the season, they were hitting shots which got their juices going on the defensive end and they were tough.  This is just going to be another loss if they cant put the ball through the rim.

POR has already erased their early deficit and are trying to build their own lead.

BMac looks like he will be a good G-league player not an NBA player.

he needs to go play in the G League for 3 weeks or so cause he cannot help the big club at all.

Is parsons being doubled or something?

He needs to be RAINING shots right now.

half the time all of them are scared to shoot the ball.  Its like no one wants to be labeled as "selfish" and they just keep passing and passing and end up with empty possessions after empty possession.   I bet Lilliard or McCollum arent scared to shoot and if they miss, they wont go into a shell and stop shooting.   Shooting is all about confidence and the Grizz have none.

McCollum has 15 of their 34 pts.   Jeez, we have nobody that can do anything with him.  Couple that with horrid shooting and you end up behind like we are.

McCollum can score 50 for all I care. As long as he’s doing all the work we are ok.

Pump fakes are getting brooks but he doesn’t really have a choice coming around the screens.

Even as bad as we are playing we are barely down. That’s good news.
