Now that I think about it. If he can play Wrights role. He'll be around a long time

All he needs to do is get stronger to overtake Wright's role.  Wright isn't exactly a banger either.  He makes his living by jumping over everybody.

And he can’t do that very well because he gets boxed out half the time

Exactly. But Rabb looks to have more offensively.

Yep. He gets flat footed a lot. He used to be active. And got a lot of garbage balls. Not now

Sometimes I think you guys just make up what you want to see without ever checking reality.

Sometimes I think people use stats without actually digging into them. Wright on average takes 3 shots a game. Mostly put backs and lobs. His teammates never get him the ball because he sucks at creating offense (remember those two ISO’s he had last game where they froze him out?) his rebounds are far and few between honestly. You can use per minute if you want, but there is a reason he only plays 14 minutes a game while his teammate who was about to get cut this offseason Is averaging 22 minutes a game in front of him.

brandon  cant guard the perimeter, gets out hustled for rebounds and can’t put he ball in he bucket unless lobbed to.

Best rebounder per minute on the team.

Maybe that speaks more about the team?

Not saying Wright is bad (kinda). But if Rabb gets experience and strength. He looks like he can at least do what BW does.

Kobi looked great offensively last night. 31 points. 6/11 from deep. His defense wasn't bad either. Ivan Rabb wasn't with the Hustle, I was unaware he was called up. He should be getting minutes if he is, especially with Brandon out.

Rabb was dominating in the G League. I am not sure he'll learn a lot more against that competition. Put Martin with the Hustle and start giving Rabb some practice time with the big club so he can continue to develop.

Do you think we should play Kobi too since Mike is out? I can see him as a bit of a defensive liability, but he has elite speed.

Honestly he isn’t needed yet and still has a lot to learn about playing PG in the NBA. With Chalmers, Harrison and Evans all capable of playing the point there is t a need to bring him up. He would be better off staying with the Hustle and learning the job right now.

Hustle and the rest of the league have the Showcase this weekend.  I think all the teams are in Ontario and will play 2 games.  They put them all together because 10-day contracts are about to start.  That's also why you see a lot of games being broadcast on ESPNU/NBA-TV the last couple days.

Hustle play Maine this Saturday.  For those of you who remember Drew Barham (former Cordova/Memphis Tiger) he is on that team.

Hustle lead league in rebounds per game.

Kobi Simmons is with the Hustle for these games, right? What about Rabb?

Rabb is the 12th man on the Grizzlies bench right now. I have no idea why he isn't playing with the Hustle. Seems like a waste to me.

Yeah, especially with Wright (somewhat) back in the rotation.
