How did they "BS us"?  Did I miss the press conference where they proclaimed him 100%, or All-Star caliber, or something similar?

I do agree his shot looks very flat during his time with Grizzlies.

Watched a Mavericks video where he made 5 threes ... his shot had little more arc then, but not much more.

I guess he's pretty line-drive on his shot.  But hey ... whatever works for him.  He's a career 37.3% shooter from 3 ... which is solid.  He shot 41.4% in his last year with Mavericks ... that is what we're hoping for.

Why do all businesses constantly BS about everything they do?  To placate the customers and stock holders.

Besides, spouting BS is free.  If there was a charge to do it, businesses would do it quite a bit less.  You would see a scant fraction of "new and Improved" and "better than ever" out there.  The world's biggest BS artist is the fraudulent charlatan pretending to be president of the United States of America right now.

Here are some players cited in a recent discussion of NBA players with a flat shot:

Dario Saric, Kobe Bryant, Shaun Livingston, Draymond Green, Kevin Love, Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Tracy McGrady, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Kawhi Leonard, Damian Lillard, Derek Fisher.

But what do they know about shooting?  All scrubs, even the six probable Hall of Famers.
Losers, because they don't shoot the Official KBM way.

There is only one (1) criterion for good NBA shooting: did the ball go in?

Say what you want about Trump, but he was not voted in by the media.  Sorry but the media was the ones throwing the bs around in that issue.

I still havrnt seen chandler parsons play but  if he not vastly improved, i will predict a under 500 record.  Even with him at some type of top form, we might win 47 games.

I'm really expecting a realization this year about what certain players brought to this grizz team.

he almost looks like Tony Allen in that when he takes a jumpshot, he releases the ball as his body has already reached its apex from the jump and it starting on his way down. Like TA, that produces a "flat" jump shot.

I will also agree that the couple of times he has played against ORL and PHI, at times he has looked slow and unsure especially when moving laterally.  Then in Philly, he made a nice ball fake at the top of the key and the defender bit and then Chandler made a bee line to the rim and made a reverse layup.  During the game thread, someone said he actually looked "athletic."

So who in the heck knows?  As he gets more in sync with the team and gets used to playing the NBA game again, his shot will get better.  I always remembered his shot as somewhat flat anyway, but he normally doesnt shoot it on the way down from his jump.
