How many players do the Grizzlies have under contract now? How many draft picks need contracts? What about JaMychal?

Wallace must have something up his sleeve but **** if I know what it is.

I wonder if Wallace is going to trade name rights with Sacramento. Memphis Kings has a nice ring to it!

For 3.3 it's a super low gamble. Nice move Wallace.

Feels like Baldwin is going to be moved. Team has focused much more development on Harrison.

I personally like the addition. Lets just hope Evans can be a team player, and not have any bad luck with injuries..

A trade is on the horizon to free up a roster spot....

Another underrated aspect is this also softens the blow of losing Tony.   Much easier to say we aren't resigning Tony in favor of Tyreke than for Ben McLemore.

gotta be a trade/trades coming.  too many guards.  I'd be shocked if they don't resign JAM.

So Ben McLemore is a better asset that Tyreke?  I think they gave him 2 years 11 million?

I'm thinking the same thing. Maybe a "big" trade in the works.

I don't believe the Grizzlies have signed the two draft picks or Rade yet. It's conceivable I suppose that they ship one or two of them to the G League or Europe for a season and hold onto their draft rights but if so it makes you wonder how much Fizdale has a say in the front office moves. He said this less than three weeks ago.

Quote

"We got to go," Fizdale said, shaking his head in amusement. "These guys aren't here to go slow. They're not here for that, and that's why I like them. We're here to play and expect them to be productive basketball players for me right out the gate."

This is an absolute steal of a signing. I don't care about his previous injuries, for that price and on a 1 year prove it deal, I'll take it all day long.

MEM has about $12mm below the tax, after the Tyreke deal and deals for rookies. Get JaM for ~$10mm and you're good under the tax.
