sure would be nice for, one time, our ping ball land on one.

one time.

slim.

If we landed at 1 I would almost want to trade back to 4-5 and gain another asset.

Yeah you can't leave Ayton on the board.

God you would get roasted for an eternity if you pass on or trade Ayton and it fails.

Yea for all I’m seeing is Trae Young this and that. Granted we all love shooters but Bagley, Doncic, Ayton and Sexton are killing it. Heck for what I saw in the Alabama game Sexton looked better than Young.

there are beginning to be 7 players separating themselves as Tier 1 lottery prospects....

Griz are certain to pick in top 7

guy who is making most strides in minds of GMs and scouts is Jaren Jackson Jr - some say he could easily be best of the 4 "name" bigs

Ayton, Doncic, Bamba, Jackson Jr, Bagley, Young, Porter

Griz could use any of them

Is Ayton becoming a consensus #1? I haven't got that impression from the media.

The way i see it, Doncic will be a National media favorite also especially since the DraftExpress guys have him #1 at ESPN. I admit i can’t properly evaluate him.

I would have Young #1 if he was 6’4+.

Ayton is just the best combo of size, athleticism, skill, potential and production.

Gotcha. I just saw so many people in this thread suddenly agreeing on Ayton at #1 that I thought I had missed something.

I think as we get closer to the draft he'll become the consensus #1. If this was five years ago people would be calling him a once in a generation prospect but he can absolutely be an elite big in the modern NBA.

I really think the key to our future is having multiple interchangeable versatile guys on perimeter.

This is essentially the essence of the new NBA.

Very true.  Bonus would be having uber athletic Bigs with one having ability to protect rim and the other to stretch the floor.    That's where grabbing Bagley, Ayton, or Jackson comes into play.

No, I don't think he is. In a radio interview Jay Bilas basically was confident that Bagley will go #1 overall.

They gone draft Porter and say he's the wing they've always needed and they will dismis his injury concern

I don't think we're gonna be bad enough to even have a shot at Porter now.
