Ed Stefanski Being Looked at by Bucks

Recommended Posts

Can someone again clarify the pecking order in the Grizzlies (basketball side), on who is ultimately responsible for the decisions after Pera.

What is the arrangement/order of Steve Kaplan, Joe Abadi, Wallace, Hollinger, and Stefanski?

Is that line up correct: Pera > Kaplan > Abadi > Wallace > Hollinger > Stefanski?

This has been a big question ever since ESPN reported that Wallace wasn't running things for the Grizzlies. At that time it was alleged that Abadi was actually running the team. The media guide has the following list:
Controlling Owner               Robert J. Pera
Director                   Joseph Abadi
General Manager                 Chris Wallace
Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations     John Hollinger
Executive Vice President of Player Personnel       Ed Stefanski

Kaplan is a minority owner who owns the same percentage as Pera. They have a buy-sell agreement in place where Kaplan names a price and Pera either buys him out or sells at that price. Since Kaplan wants to buy the Minnesota Timberwolves I hope that they can reach an amicable solution in October or before. Otherwise things could get very weird before the start of next season.
